I don't know what you're talking about, but Stacy has ALWAYS been the one who sings this song. Chauntelle has never done any other part than the bridge/verse 3.
No, It's Stacy. Like I said, Chauntelle has never done the entire song. Her singing a part of this song was a huge thing. Chauntelle hasn't been singing for years. This is the first time she did a solo part on an Eisley album in YEARS. The last time she did a solo part was in the Moss Eisley days.
I actually didn't much care for this song until I saw them live and they played it with the new intro. The intro really does make this song. I don't know why exactly, but with the intro included the song takes on a whole different mood than it does without it. It mostly sounds sadder, in a good way.
Anyone have a professionally recorded live version of this song with the intro?
She says, "I'm in the dark, but nobody's coming for me." Oh (love...?) I could be anywhere you are, I could be anywhere you need, I could be there for you.
I just... I think I'm in love. That new intro is literally amazing. I am constantly floored at how much this band grows with not only each album but each performance. Their third full-length album is sure to be stellar.
Holy crap! I never realized that Chauntelle sung that part of the song! It brings me such joy to see her sing again, even if it is only for a little bit.
I can't stop listening to this. I absolutely love how eisley transforms and evolves.

"Why do we have to come through here tonight?
She says, "I'm in the dark, but nobody's coming for me." Oh (love...?) I could be anywhere you are, I could be anywhere you need, I could be there for you.
i can't tell if she just says "oh" or "oh love".

@TheMarshKing I think the lyrics are:
Why do we have to come through here tonight?
She says,"I'm in the dark,
and nobody is coming for me."
I could be anywhere you are,
I could be anyone you need,
and I could be there for you.

My thoughts exactly, isn't the intro sublime? It gave me chills. They have an exciting future in store, thats for sure.
