i tried this before but when i tried to run the exe, the whole thing froze and i had to restart the explorer.exe just to get it to stop. so i guess the school somehow blocked them. in my school, they use IE 8 in the library and ones in classrooms and in one class, called computer solutions, they use ie 8 and they have Firefox 3.0. i always use firefox in that class but i have to install flash each time i get on lol
i thought flashdrive and thumbdrive were 2 diffrent things ._. .... bc i thought flashdrive were things 2 take out or put in ur pc were a thumbdrive is a portable internet connection <_< and plus even if its a flashdrive i cant find out were 2 go 2 find fire fox on my flashdrive bc its pluged in right now (trying 2 sound un noobish) <_<
Don't they use proxy's at school? I think the browser has to be configured correctly. I'll try it. I'll download chromium and just let it sit on there.

No, that's my Mac's TTS saying it's 6:00
XD
MasterOfTheXP 2 years ago
o lol.... whats TTS?
born2bwld1 2 years ago
TTS = Text To Speech
A voice on computers. If you type something and click 'Speak' and a voice speaks what you typed, that's TTS.
Mac OS X has a feature where it announces when its a new hour--that's what you heard here.

o, i have Vista Home premium so i have a voice recognition thing, i assume its something like that

I like IE8 but I hate IE 7, and my school uses IE7 :(
kochkochkoch 2 years ago
Mine uses IE8. Which is strange because my computer came installed with IE7... for once the school computers beat my computer (In one way anyway).

so do u have 2 download firefox portable on ur flashdrive?
Inuyashamakoto 2 years ago
You open the setup exe on your PC, select the thumb drive as the destination, and install.
Then the Firefox exe will be ready to use on any other computer :)
So, I guess my answer is no, you don't download directly to your thumb drive.
