This is absolutely no shade. However, if the issue comes from Diamond's friend, it should be HER issue as well. I would never be so non-chalant to people talking about someone I care for. And I'd never make her be around someone who's very rude to her. Family should have each other's back no matter what, even if they don't agree or accept the fact one is transgender. And trans people are NOT gay in definition... Gender identity & sexuality are totally different from one another.
