  • You should make an intro out of that or something =D

  • Attention 12-year olds: yes, since light does not escape a black hole, you cannot see it. But you can see it warp light that passes by it, and you can see the (extremely bright) light emitted by infalling matter. Anything outside the event horizon is still fair game.

tl;dl black holes are usually pretty damn hard to miss.

  • Dude do you even know what a black hole is 0.o that looked like a star burp or something xD

  • @spior ...nerd

  • @Rollingbean o_O

  • it looks like it is being sucked in not sucking in

  • It isnt a black hole, why do u think its called a 'black' hole, the universe is black bro,And so are the holes..Black holes do not move..U want one to come to earth and ..Matery+Anti matery : .. ?

  • Black Holes

Allah said: So verily, I swear by the (Al-Khunnas Al-Jware Al-kunnas)

    Quran 81 v 15-16

    The meaning of words

    Al-Khunnas: the disappeared

    Al-Jware: move swiftly

    Al-kunnas: the sweeper

  • @Tofy710 islam is sin JESUS is the way out

  • thats not what a black hole looks like though you cant see one unless its sucking something in that produces light

  • Nothing can escape a black hole.

  • What was that? It could be anything, but a black hole... I think it's some effect from marijuana, maybe...

  • u dnt halucinate from marijuana, unless its laced

  • You cant even see a black hole dumbass.

  • your right, its like colorblind, it wont be black, its like closing your eyes.

  • i went into a black hole once...it was pretty cool

  • u cant see black holes because the gravity is so intense that even light doesnt escape it, so if the light is being sucked in you cant see it. You cant actually see the colour black either its just all of the spectrum of light being absorbed, so in effect your just seeing space which is weird if you think about it.

  • You would however see the gravitational lensing of any distant light it passes, and therefore you would be able to "see" it.

  • if anyone wants to know what happens when you get sucked into the black hole, here it is. first, your body expands. it feels painful at first, but then it starts to feel good. second, your body will split in half and your torso will be torn apart from your legs. finally, you keep getting ripped into pieces until your millions of small little atoms until the gravity from the black hole allows it to come in completely and it will make the hole bigger. i learned this from science camp. it ROCKS

  • your comment is bullshit

  • Actually, while crude, he is not far off.

It's called Spaghettification (I shit you not) and it relates to tidal forces, where the gravitation field is SO strong that even over small separations, the difference in strength is strong enough to tear things apart, halving an object, then halving both those pieces, halving all the pieces again, until you have a line of fundamental particles streaming towards the singularity.

Pretty sick, eh? Just type Spaghettification into wikipedia.

  • you dont know if thats true :(

  • Nice effect but thats not even close to what a black hole would look like. And yes you can see them. They just don't emit high energy radiation. The radiation they do emit is vastly washed out in the background heat of space. If you were close enough it, it would look like a perfectly black sphere with intense gravitational lensing around the edges. and thats if its not feeding. If it is, it'd be really obvious, with an accretion disk (and jets) on size scales on da order o da radius of the sun.

  • They are invisible. Light can't escape it,so it can't be illuminated,so you can't see it.

  • you cannot see black holes... and if that was how a black hole would really look like, ill rofl all over the earth if i ever see a pic of itlol

  • Cept for the fact you can't see black holes.

  • Falsely named as a black hole, but I'm admitting that it's a great effect you have.

  • I seen the description.I can say this is not real , because one black hole doesn't look like this. 2nd thing...who 3DmoviesAAe said, u can see the stars behind it.. more luck next time :P

  • This could be part of a nice music video. How did you make those swirly rings?

  • FAILD

  • cool

  • EPIK FAIL.

  • what? your inability to read?...

    have a nice day, M. Retard :D

  • lol

  • @theyoungster2 SPELLING FAIL

  • lol its not black hole, you can see the stars behind it! haha failed

  • lol, what people all comment here even if you put at the info that you made this animation just for fun

  • hey freaking people read the comment of the video he said :this is done just for fun...enjoy so STFU

  • that's not a black hole, and this is dumb.

  • Black holes couldn't move that fast !! it takes time (alot as a madder of fact) for blackholes to actually move or move things.

  • Does anybody else find the concept of being sucked into a black hole to be the most disturbingly intense thing that could ever happen in this universe?

  • uhhh..... ya

  • does this mean that its so strong that the speed oflight cant escape a black hole?

  • yes

  • well invisble means you cant see it so technically its invisible to us but maybe not some other king of life in the universe

  • just to show off my knowledge (its actually a video i watched) but apparently things orbiting around a black hole whilst being sucked in can reach speeds of over the speed of light around the event horizon, meaning they would go back in time!

  • no they would not go back in time, they'd just slow down. Time would appear to stop, from the observer's pov. whilst inside, the universe would speed up.

  • well yeah, time does slow down with speed so then surely at collosal speeds (the speed of light) whilst inside, time would go into reverse.

  • Time would only go "backwards" to the person beyond the speed of light as they go away from an object. The object they appraoch will seem fast in reguads of time. There is no way to go back in time lol. Time is an unchangable constant that seems to change with speed. If you travel the speed of light for X time and observe the earth, it will apear the same but if you were to call someone on earth, they could give you a recap of the past year that you missed.

  • Even if you were to travel in a circle at the speed of light, the only thing you would do is appear (to yourself) to run into yourself, nothing more.

  • Yep.

  • time is anything but an unchangable constant. it sways like a river diviated in many paths or even bent like a pretzel. And time travel needs the power similar to an exploding star. and if you were to go back in time you would be in a different past not your own. Nothing from the time you come from can be changed because everything has already happened in its past.

  • So if you can't change your past, how could you change this "other past"? How did you get this idea anyways?

Time is unchangable. Alot of people relate it to the speed of light, which can waiver, but they are completely different. It's like when people thought you would explode when we first broke the sound barrier lol.

  • are you locked away in a cave seriously. access some info on time travel on youtube. stop being ignorant

  • Maybe you need to use a refrence other than youtube lol. Seriously, you base your opinion on something that anyone can post?

  • oh yeah im basing it off of what some hilljack said. No lol. REAL scientists REAL theories. Michio kaku. look up keywords ' time travel possible? '

  • Going that speed, and the amount of heat that would be produced will disolve anything that would get near it anyway, so no one will ever get close. So your discussion is pointless.

  • Where's the gamma ray jet? ;-)

  • No, we CAN see it!

Because black hole significantly curve paths of nearly photos.

  • its an asshole just kidding :P

  • r u serious thats a black hole?

  • doesn't even look like a black hole...

  • ehm... black holes are invisible...

  • how would U know that black holes are invisible... ?

  • they just don't emit light. the light that enters the event horizon can't escape to reach our eyes, so we look at the matter just outside the event horizon to determine the position of BH :P

  • how do U know what a black hole looks like?

  • they have no image, we can only detect its presence. Our eyes are designed to see things that light touches, hence why we cant see in the dark. Black holes are so gravitationally powerful, that light cant escape it! This is why we cant see it, unless it starts to swallow something like a star, where would see the star's materials revolve around in a circle at a rapid speed.

  • they aren't really invisible, it's just light can't escape them. people say that something thrown into a black hole would seem to freeze at the reach of the event horizon, but actually it'd dissapear. and we can tell what black holes look like by studying their effects and how they're made. they're tiny little dots smaller than an atom.

  • couldn't have said it better

  • N.A.S.A = Niggers Are Shitty Astronauts

  • You=Racist

  • Rct3man777= Genuis

  • Heh, :D

  • your a dumb ass

  • you suck!

  • pole shift will happen soon!!!

  • blackholes is im posible to see

  • @dagga45 They're not impossible to see; they're pitch black, so if you silhouette them against something bright, you can see them. ;)

    -Max

  • blak hole is anything but black

  • wtf

    sukkahiki

    that is so not true.

the reason why there called black holes is because there black.whats not black is the stuff geting sucked in.

  • umm shoshanish... technically sukkahiki666's right... the only reason they call it a black hole is because light can't escape it. It's many colors, but we can't see it because the light's not getting to our eyes... newb... :D

  • 2012 is justt a myth there no observation everyone believed that 1999 was the last year but the maya empire ends wow just because it predictied a couple of things doesnt mean it will happen a tribe centuries ago could NEVER predict the end of the world technology wasnt even formed nothin will happen to the human race hoefully something is possibel to happen only a 2% chance lets just pray that GOD will protect us !!!

  • The world didnt end when they tested the Particle Collider.... Lets wait.... 4 years now! :D

  • That was a quick check, thbere testing the particle collider in 1 month.

  • There is only something like a .00000000001% chance of a black hole forming from the particle collider, and even if it was to turn into a black hole, it would last for such a short amount of time that not even a proton would be pulled in. The media just inflated it a ton.

  • AHHHHHHHHH WHY 4 YEARS !??

  • 2012...

  • Hi, I myself used to worry about 21/12/2012 because the Mayan's were so accurate that i had no doubt that 2012 would be the end. Did you know that the Mayan's predicted when white peopel would come to the Americans? Once I heard that I was sure that we were stuffed. But I watched a short video about the different theories about 2012. One was that the magnetite poles owuld shift, which would cause earthquakes, tital waves etc. That scared me even more but then there was another theory.

  • The other theory was that we are heading into another phase, something to do with the star signs. According to this theory we are in the pieces era and we are heading into the aquarius I think it was. Don't worry about 2012 because what it is based on happens every 25,800 years.

  • The Mayans didn't predict the end of the world, it is simply the end of their calendar and something will definitely happen but we definitely won't see a Nemesis star to our Sun... it's utterly bullshit so don't you worry about 2012 even if there's a little bit of it in you... because I was like you once... until I did enough research to convince myself it's just bullshit... What you should be worrying about it Apophis... which has a possibility of ending humanity in 2036....

  • oh ok by that time i will be 38, i'll look up Apophis a little, thanks for the heads up

  • i live in switzerland (thats true), near the cerne center and i have a little black hole (thats true) in my room (definitly not true)

  • oh the collider...I DON'T WANT TO DIE TODAY!!!

  • Uhhh.. You mean you have a little brown hole?!

  • 1 of 5000000? Yeah we have a chance ....

  • THE END IS NEEEAR!!!!!!!

  • Mmhmmm... whatever doomsdayer ;)

  • Bye guys! 10.09.08 = End of world

I want live Im only 13! lol

  • Davidik50, shut up. Nothing will happen, if it does I promise you ... I still won't give a fuck.

Particals smash together like this EVERYDAY, worse than this infact. They are doing this experiment at a fraction of the power. Nothing will happen and you know what, after this we'll all say "Wow that was a bit like that Nostradamus prediction about that asteroid huh? Nothing happened. Ohh well. Back to the grind."

Enjoy life you fools and stop worrying!

  • Lol, everyone got this wrong, they only sent 1 beam.

I'm here to answer any questions also, i'll explain anything you want, just PM me, i'll tell you why the world wont end.

  • ok, answer this...

Are we playing with fire with the black holes??

Or they're gonna disappear if theres some...or they're gonna form a big black hole?

Do we know?...Or we,re playing with fire??

  • If they form a mini black hole, it will evaporate due to Hawking's radiation and the gravity.

If it absorbs mass, it will grow, but it would have to absorb mass in 0.05 seconds, which is just and almost impossible.

If we did create a black hole, a big one, not anything we can do about it, we'd be FUCKED.

But that's like you winning the lottery, except more likely.

1 to 50,000,000 chance to form black hole.

Playing with fire? Well we are toying around and playing god.

  • Hawking's radiation is a theory, it hasn't been proved and it aint even been tested for... We ain't playing God at all, 1. there is no god, 2. if we have the chance to find out way more about the universe then we'll take it... thats just the way it is, nothing we can do about it now because they've already turned the machine on so... it wont happen anyway :)

  • I just dont think we should mess with something that we ''are not sure'' or wishing that it wont happen....

Even if our chances are the same as if we were playing lottery

who knows? thats maybe our lucky day and we'll be on the 1 to 50000000 chance!

  • I understand but they aren't going to change their minds, its a huge oppurtunity that could provide us with so many answers, imagine what could be found out...? I know for one that I would definetly use the LHC, oh and there are asteroids with more chances of hitting us than there being a blackhole so... :) some are 1 in 3000 chance, so nothing bad should happen, if we are that unlucky 1 then... we might aswell know we are going to die in such a cool way ,^^

  • THATS FROM WINAMP XD

  • Enigma...

  • you expect a tardis and some funky music

    pretty kwl :P

  • good effect

  • lol kool and all you retards who keep saying -OmG This is not real- well read description dumbasses this was just for fun

    5/5 for no reason :p

  • guys I did this with no scientific purpose... The title is "Black Hole" just because its a circle with some little lights that looks like stars...I didn't did this wishing it would be aired on a scientific show...but thank for watching ;)

  • i didn't saw the black hole.

(why am i typing this. ofcourse i don't see it! a black hole doesn't release photons. so no light!)

  • W T F WAS THAT?!?!?!?!?!?

  • so....fake.

  • you think?...!

  • pretty kewl
