  • awesome! he threw 2 pitches!!

  • yeah why is it 434 not even the deepest major league field is that far

  • @jailboie44 actually minute maid park is 436 to center

  • 434? why so far? the majors is not even tht big at any part of the field

  • The Nationals couldn't have been offering too little for Crow. The history of 1st round draft piks is way too spotty for these guys to command more than he was offered.

Silly boy. His value can only go down as the hitting he faces improves, and meanwhile an arm that operates with his gyrating mechanics will wear out before he manages to get coaches good enough to manage him.

  • Hope this whiny little baby blows out his arm...not signing with the Nats was the dumbest move he will ever make

  • Blame the Nationals......they were cheap when all it woulda took was $900,000 but I wouldn't expect you to know anything regarding sports

  • wow thats not dumb thats smart the nats suck and with the nats theyl rush him up thru the minors he the smart one he probably wants to work on his game in the minors and not struggle through the majors at 20 years old

  • The Giants will land him at 6 in next years draft.

  • Back in the draft! Let's go Cards :)

  • BBq $ LIFE

  • go nationals!

  • wow everyone is a critic, the inverted W is loading the traps which is evident in all pitchers, he gets on top of the ball and has perfect follow through, good extension and direction. too wide in the stretch? we faced him this year and was touching 96and 97 from the stretch. what more can you ask from the stretch? you can knock him all you want, hes hard to pick up and when you throw 97,98 with very sharp offspeed, hes my number 1 overall and prolly will be the first 3 picks

  • collegeballplayer28 you should go look at strephen strasburg. Crow will go high again this draft but strasburg is the best talent in it

  • Ive seen this guy pitch, i am the bat boy on the bourne braves and he nearly threw a no hiter in the 3 starts he had against us, HE HIT 99 IN HIS WARMUPS

  • inverted W COULD ruin his arm.

his pitches will look great for 2-3 years then he could hurt himself like Prior and Wood did.

  • This guy is great. I love his composure. I watched him, the other coach was giving him shit after he hit a guy, he said something back to the coach and instead of plunking the next guy or otherthrowing, he struck him out and made the guy look foolish.

  • he's showing his pitch by his back-left pocket: unless he fix it, better hitters will cause him frequent neck problems.

  • He's done pretty well with it so far. No one is perfect, and in my opinion, you shouldn't want everyone to strive for a certain delivery, what works for him works for him, you change it, and he might not be as good.

  • hitting is all about recognition. this guy showing his pitch will lead to ineffective starts, or relief -- which ever role he has in a staff: sure a high draft pick and $ is fine, but, getting to - and competing in - the show is what it's all about - thus, he will not be successful past double-A tipping his pitches that early in his delivery. i would say it's more of a visual flaw.

  • So he'll probably go to double-A, and if he's in a good organization, they'll fix him and he'll be solid.

  • great mechanics

  • Huh? Is dat die ene die nu weg is bij Uri Geller? XD

  • from the looks of his stats and projections, i dont think hes doing too much wrong...but hey its easy to critique a guy thats probably gonna be the number one pick...david price needs work on mechanics too HAHAHA what a joke!

  • Not going to be the number 1 overall pick....Smoak and Alvarez are still the lead of the class.

  • From the stretch, his feet are too far apart, not allowing him to load up and move more body mass to the plate. Hooks the ball behind him and raises his elbows above the shoulder line like Prior. Could move faster with a step back, forward, plant and go.

  • Heard he hit 97 mph. First-round pick for sure.
