I think its weird how paramore is in Drop c. Drop c is like the hardcore tuning.

I think the original is in Standard E tuning.

Everyone nowdays wants to do one finger chords and put it in drop c.

Yeah I think the original is also standard because if you listen carefully during the bridge, you can hear the sliding. But in Drop C or Drop Db, you can't slide that much. I hope you know what I mean...

So yes Standard E or Eb would be the right tuning. More less it's standard E ...well thats what I hear.

Ya kinda get used to what notes and tunings sound liek after quite a few years of playing and performing.

well, meith2006, then you have not developed such a accurate ear... cause it is Dropped Db my friend... I saw your vid and you played Ok, but you are playing one octave higher... listen to the album version at 0:39, It is a C# chord. (C#+G#+C#), one octave lower than you... also if you watch the vid or other live vids you can see josh doesn't fret anywhere. so it is Dropped Db!!!!!!

All the other vids i have seen everyone is in drop D or C (played in the key of C#..not to be confused with tuning)

why go ower in tning? To get bass sounds on the guitar. Why not let the bass do that.

Scales/solos are not as fundemental or easy to play in lower than Eb tuning. dropping the E to D maybe..but other than that... it's horrible. Lets see ya do a mixolydian scale with the Ionian modes tossed in.

UHmmm...I have said enough. Get more experience and play with more well seasoned musicians. The chord progression is.. C#-B-E then to A-B-C# (not gonna be technical on the note names) at the beginning/1st verse chorus is C#-E-B , A-E-B , C#-E-B-A-B-A for the turn around.

Put it this way...if you play it in the right KEY no matter the tuning. You'll play it correctly. Just need to be in tune.

I have a pet peeve of people playing out of tune. Even when they are playing a song correctly.

Still lower than Ed and Drop D on the E is just obnoxious.
