I used to live in Iran and Qatar as a young man and always loved the "oud". There is something very special about Naseer Shamma's style and I am very glad that he is now a famous teacher of the music. He wrote a piece for a one-handed friend which I have heard. Fantastic achievement.

thanks for posting. this is a famous abdel wahab song made famous by the movie "ghazel el banat." I believe that certain instruments like the trumpet were introduced to the egyptian music in this film.
