well i av a aspire 5315 i im my over heats n ive found out wat u av to do is that u av to flip ur laptop over and take of the biggest pannel and under there is alot of wires n stuff just take off the fan and clean it (if it is dusty) and after uve cleaned it doesnt over head as much and it rune a little faster : )

Also i have upated the BIOS from v1.29 to v1,45 Its solving the problem but when i playing Gta san andreas on it it will still reach the 85 degrees of the cpu and cpu diode

Acer Aspire 5315 is a piece of shit. I have one and it runs very slow and laggy. Buttons even break for no reason. Since my dad got a HP Laptop (the best PC laptops) The laptop is rarely used.

I'm glad I got my own Mac. It's way better than the crappy laptop we had

i got a 5315 and so has my brother but both our machines take long to load and miss words sometimes when you type. But it might be because we live in the UK and I read that some people had the same problem with the UK one.

I have the same laptop, it's an awesome little machine for what it costs. I upgraded it though, put in more memory and a bigger hard drive. But all in all, it does most things anyone would need it to oh-so-very-awesomely. Heck, I'm even running Mac OS X on it instead of Windows Vista ...

People say this machine is not good for gaming...well that depends on the games. i have the same thing.

although its a must to install another 1Gb of ram.

i Can play Halo CE, sim city games, call of duty 4 on crappy settings of course, half life, Doom 3...sorta, WOW, and lots of others. and its a nice machine to dual boot with.

things it wont play. The Sims 2...lol doesn't even load right.

and any of the newest games on the market.
