Eliciting a memory of arriving in Los Angeles as a 20 something and discovering jazz for the first time through an early Al Jarreau performance of "Better Than Anything," the range and imagery of this clip though musically worlds and decades apart from my first experience in LA, evokes a similar connection. Like a welcomed glass of wine or the distant sound of children playing, this performance provides a warmth and a lilting playfulness that compels me to want to discover more from this group.

great playing gents ! if you post part 1 and part 2 you can get around the 10 minute limit . Video also doesnt show up "HD" on my system here . I think if it was encoded differently it might sound a bit better ... it sounds like its a great recording before the youtube compressions and streaming ... love sean
