People on the left have been threatening Walker's life, and his family, and other WI republicans (and getting away with it -- no one has been charged). Threatening to SHOOT him!! and YOU COMPLAIN THAT HE HAS SECURITY THERE? Come on people. Wow.
@762x51n8o I do not condone threats from anyone. However, I do find it interesting that you ignore the fact that Walker is actually HARMING civilians by cutting funding to programs that support the health, development, and wellness of children and the elderly (via cuts to BadgerCare, Reduced Lunch programs, etc).
@miamystery That's a stretch. I think I saw the News story on that -- they're having to pack 3 kids per desk, kids are starving, 100 kids per teacher, pushing old people off cliffs. Something like that.
@NewWorldAhead They "DID" create those things. Just like the Republicans DID free the slaves. For one thing, Walker has targeted PUBLIC EMPLOYEE Unions, not Private. Second, since you're so Pro Union, here's something else unions have created: A bankrupt GM, Ford, Chrystler, which is why Asian carmakers have been so profitable, and why most manufacturing jobs have went overseas. That's right, KEEP on unions, and we'll have no manufacturing jobs here.
@762x51n8o Unions did not send industry to China and the developing world. Corporate greed and inhumanity did that. Unions also did not cause corporate bankruptcies or the economic downturn. Again, that was corporate greed (i.e. pursuit of a corrupt and imagined credit system aka the stock market).
@miamystery I think there are several reasons why industry has went to China, but do you really believe that the high cost of labor here in the US had nothing to do with it? I find it funny when I hear people talk about corporate greed, yet say nothing about the financial resources of the labor unions. And corruption, you know during the Doyle years, WI was ranked as one of the top 5 most corrupt state governments in the country? I think at one point they were 2, only behind IL.
Also, THINK. What's really the problem, here? Is it that too many union workers have benefits FAR better than non-union workers? ...or is it that too many NON-union workers are being treated like absolute SHIT by private industry compared to the unionized ones? I say it's the latter, but what do you think? ;~D

@amcent2 Since there are private sector unions that help keep other non-union wages and benefits high, your argument really has no basis, nor holds any water.
@4fun1957 Private sector union is not the same as public sector. Public sector feeds off private sector. Private sector creates wealth which is consumed by public sector as taxes. The US government is out of control and has pitted middle class American workers against the poorest workers in the world. Why should public sector employees expect to do so much better than private sector, which pays for their jobs? Time for public sector employees to get a dose of reality.

There is no difference between public and private sector unions. The only difference lies in their employers. Though I'm not sure why your post makes it sound like public sector workers don't also pay taxes.

Understands that goods and services were put in place for the greater good and cost money? Yup, count me a 'liberal'. Sorry dude, but you're the one who's been 'indoctrinated'.
@amcent2 - Jesus was a liberal, one of the greatest and unprecedented in documented history. Would you summarily castigate him with your fallacious statement?
@amcent2 What sort of person asks and then answers his own question? One perhaps, of a duplicitous mindset, or could it be even as serious as symptomology of Dissociative Identity Disorder? You tell us, please?
Regarding your castigation of my comment, have you never read and understood the gospels that document the records of Jesus' mortal life? If, ... and when you do, you will recognize what I have stated, to be fact. The resultant edification may improve your life immeasurably.
@amcent2 - Your defective and limited understanding of the term 'Liberal' reflects not just a biased and erroneous viewpoint but it encompasses the propagandistic marketing ploys used by the late Lee Atwater in his GOP strategies 1979-1984, later employed and embellished by his protege, Karl Rove. If you are too young to have experienced our history, turn off your talkradio and FOX NN and research facts and educate yourself.
@tracer740 I understand what liberals are from having dealt with them. There are the useful brainwashed idiots who actually believe in the commie utopia, and then there are the central planners and the community organizers, who are the dangerous ones who understand that it's all a scam. And of course the union goons. Ya know what? Your side sucks ass.
@amcent2 - Hmm, " useful brainwashed idiots ", ... " commie utopia", ... "central planners ...community organizers". Interesting rhetoric comprised of talking points so commonly and vehemently inculcated daily on talkradio, FOX NN and the omnipresent 'pass this on' emails that are diligently and repeatedly circulated within the wingnut circles of communication and 'enlightenment'.
Have you never had an original and actually objective summation of fact and reality?
Actually, much of the money paid to private education sector workers comes from tax subsidies, government loans, and government-provided vouchers. For-profit colleges eat up 21% of all unsubsidized and subsidized Stafford and Pell grants. This is despite the fact that they only enroll 9% of our nation's undergraduates.
And public sector workers also pay taxes. Again, the only difference between public and private unions is in who employs them.
@11111110 the only point you make is that gov't is too big and spends too much. but I already knew that. your other arguments are ridiculous. so what if public employees pay taxes? the gov't's money comes from taxing the private sector. how's that lobotomy scar healing? damn you are stupid.
@11111110 what does that even mean? If it weren't for the private sector, you public sector employees would be out of work. So do as your told, or leave the job assholes.
What does that even mean? Private sector unions are not the government's only source of tax revenue. Public workers pay the same taxes. And if we laid off public workers in masses like you propose, then those people will all go on unemployment. Meaning that the government will still be paying them, but they won't even be doing any work for those checks. Sounds like a huge improvement
Also, the private sector wouldn't be nearly as robust without public infrastructure
Most of the benches that were reserved for "Invitation only" were empty. Not enough of Wanker's supporters showed up to fill them! However, we were harassed by some of them as we were trying to leave. One of them shoved a sign in my face and in my 6 year old daughter's face and yelled at all of us. I told him it was really immature, but I don't think he heard me over his yelling.

Typical REPUBLICAN Rally. WE will only allow certain people to attend.
They did the same thing to me when George Bush came to Milwaukee.
Invitation only. They would not allow us into the event........so we protested on the street.
