Work on your false shuffle buddy. It's called a stripout and your technique is completely wrong. You leave the cards on the table and accompany the end with a false "up the ladder" cut. A gambler's exercise, if you will. You seriously need practice, it's not an easy cut to do convincingly.

At least the world still has some hard-working magicians who will take the initiative to search for the correct source and learn the effect as it is supposed to be performed. And at least THOSE magicians will practice until the effect and all the subtleties are perfected, to come together in an amazing bit of magic that will actually ENTERTAIN, rather than try to fool, the audience.

What happened to the RESPECTFUL new magicians?
I blame the magic sites that don't promote the Magicians' Code, and the lack of willingness among beginners to read books.

no. it all adds up. your probably forgetting the 8 in Sam's adress: he lives at 1329 west 8th street. the other ones are in there guess of his age, and the other 2 are in the first full house.

When you do down on the blocks.... i usually brake the bottom card , so I can easily cut it where the spectator has cut it :)
