I've just found out that in 1969, someone took this song, and turned it into a Cantonese styled operatic song. ha ha. I'm not from Taiwan, but I vaguely heard this somewhere during my childhood. Vienna has an amazing voice.

Saw her tonight at the Roxy. She was fantastic. Truly accomplished and her accompanying players were great as well. Too bad she didn't play this song. Still, she played Radiohead's Idioteque, AND I HAPPENED TO HAVE A KID A T-SHIRT ON! Sweet!

Vienna is a very special person. I adore her. She is a poet, singer, song writer and I am so glad I found her. My children are also fans of hers. This song in Chinese is lovely. I have been enjoying her music for the past few months and hope to see her in concert here in Eugene or Portland, Oregon.

Great singing! No flashy costume,gimmick or any unnecessary make up on Vienna. Just a pure look of herself and everything is so natural and wonderful. A very lovable video of Vienna singing this beautiful song.

Yes, I have the whole concert! But the last two I posted (Maya and the autograph thing) seem to have turned out worse than normal, so I'm going to either try to upload again or maybe even get new editing software to encode the videos exactly as YouTube wants them for maximum quality. My current software, which came with my camcorder, can't do this.

You're welcome! No, I didn't see her, even though I stuck around until after Vienna finished signing autographs. Or maybe I've forgotten what she looks like. (I've only seen her once at a Tower Records concert about 4 years ago.)
