Sorry to be a wet blanket but had to let people know that when you see a dolphin in a marine park do you assume it ws born their and has a good life. WRONG! Wild dolphin are still cruely captured , shipped to holding pens, some die in transit, some of starvation because they are not used to eating dead fish, then they are sold to marine parks . Ok some of the better parks are not involved in this practise,(that we know of) But it is still a big problem.

Ritual killings are always related to original human sacrifice. The better the victim looks like human, the more efficient is the ritual. Animal victims being in substitution of human ones. Thereofre the dolphins are killed precisely because they are close to humans.

You have to understand that it's not like they're going out and capturing these guys anymore. The only time they bring in wild dolphins is if they find one injured or orphaned or something. Besides, they're doing important research that helps us understand dolphins and the ocean.

Yeah it's sad it's caged but think, the dolphin doesn#t have to struggle for survival, and most animals like this are part of a breeding programm to increase numbers of a certain species.. . =]

i love dolphins but i think its sad that thr caged up lyk that same thing with whales.

Actually, bananablixsmoothie is right. Dolphins have feelings too. The group they swim with in the open sea is their family. And they look after each other. If you seperate em they actually KNOW that and be sad about it or whatever. Dolphins are social animals.
