It depends on the supercar. You are right if you are talking about exotic cars like ferrari, but still they can't get to top speed in most tracks, because there are no straights long enough for that. Of course cars are always batter at braking. Check the videos I told you. There's also an MCN video where they race a Ferrari 460 Scuderia vs a Ducati Desmocedici and the bike wins by miles. Anyway, as long as it is fast and runs on gasoline it is great no matter how many wheels it has.

you've got a point, but usually bikes can catch up with the cars in the straights, because of better acceleration and top speed. Check the "Fifth Gear" episode where they race a special edition Lamborghini Gallardo vs a standard Ducati 1098 (Ducati kicks Lambo's ass) and the Top Gear episode where they race the big engine Atom vs a BMW S1000rr (a very difficult win for the Atom, which is not a normal sports car).

it is funny the r1 is the most over rated bike out. it only puts out 143hp on the super bike mag. dyno and thats a 09. they havnt done anything to there bikes in 6 yrs. all the other liter bikes are putting out at least 10hp more. yamaha needs to step up there game.

My 06 stock is dyno at 160. now after only exhaust, K&N filter, and a basic fule chip to richen the mixture due to mods making it go lean, I am at 190HP. the 09 has more stock power than i had. Now the zx14 is the most over rated bike out. yes 190 is alot of stock power but people make it out to be the fastest ever WRONG! s1000rr is faster and still not fastest ever.

In result fast entrance and exit on corners.

@tombogaert1 harleys aren't fast bikes but your zr-1 won't do shit against a sport bike and the only reason this guy in the beamer even barely would keep up is cause they're at the same speed that bike does 0-60 in like 3 seconds

@rhinotje erm what about when your braking sharply and need to pop down a few gears without the bike locking up, clutch in to rev match.
and also clutch wheelie is safer then a power wheelie, even valentino rossi CLUTCH wheelie.

It depends on the supercar. You are right if you are talking about exotic cars like ferrari, but still they can't get to top speed in most tracks, because there are no straights long enough for that. Of course cars are always batter at braking. Check the videos I told you. There's also an MCN video where they race a Ferrari 460 Scuderia vs a Ducati Desmocedici and the bike wins by miles. Anyway, as long as it is fast and runs on gasoline it is great no matter how many wheels it has.

you've got a point, but usually bikes can catch up with the cars in the straights, because of better acceleration and top speed. Check the "Fifth Gear" episode where they race a special edition Lamborghini Gallardo vs a standard Ducati 1098 (Ducati kicks Lambo's ass) and the Top Gear episode where they race the big engine Atom vs a BMW S1000rr (a very difficult win for the Atom, which is not a normal sports car).

@mattyoz0 Your living in a bubble pal, there is no way any road car can beat a superbike from one set of lights to the next. Check out Maria Costello up against a race spec Porsche in a straight line standing start, she kicks its ass and its wet which means it wasn't the fastest starts she got but she still pissed all over it, now stop dreaming. At least once a year i get a tool like you who thinks they have me from a set of lights but all they get is owned, Superbikes do 100mph in 1st gear.

i dont bother racing cars like this with my bike it is not worth my time , energy and gas ! some guy the other day wanted to race me on my gsxr 1000 with his srt/8 challenger i said sure let me go home and get my other bike a 600cc honda scooter which i did . i met up with him down at the beach and tore his ass up all the way to 90 mph then he finally passed me !!! pretty SAD I SAID YOU GOT SMOKED BY A INTERSTATE SCOOTER !!!! he said to i have a lot of respect for those big scooters .

@7Stringerstinger Because the R1 IS the slowest of all the liter bikes, thats why you see every review say that lol. The R1 is more for a track, and it is well suited for track riding, not all out straight away speed. The ZX-10 is the beast of the liter bikes with maybe the exception of the new S1000rr.

it is funny the r1 is the most over rated bike out. it only puts out 143hp on the super bike mag. dyno and thats a 09. they havnt done anything to there bikes in 6 yrs. all the other liter bikes are putting out at least 10hp more. yamaha needs to step up there game.

My 06 stock is dyno at 160. now after only exhaust, K&N filter, and a basic fule chip to richen the mixture due to mods making it go lean, I am at 190HP. the 09 has more stock power than i had. Now the zx14 is the most over rated bike out. yes 190 is alot of stock power but people make it out to be the fastest ever WRONG! s1000rr is faster and still not fastest ever.

this guy on the r1 is toying with this car, and the r1 in a 1/4, depending on rider will do mid 10's at 148 and climbing. and that was the carb r1. Had this guy droped 2gears he wuld hav darted away from this 4wheel car. these tests hav been done already 2wheels is faster than 4wheels.

For one u geniuses if they did the race from a stop the bike would more than likely lose!!!! Its not that hard!! For one a stock R1 does the 1/4 in about 11 sec. if u dont believe me and u swear u own one talk to your retailer and get the stats!! The other video that you have is against a 600cc bike...and its not even fuel injected.. That r1 on this video is fuel injected and is one of the fastest bikes out there..besides the busa.. But M3 is nasty bro.. jus stay away from the 1000cc's haha i got a 04 r1 also and never have lost

For example: ANY (stock) recent model 1000cc sportbike will absolutely blow the doors off of ANY (stock) car, with the exception of the MAYBE the Veyron, SSC and the likes. @whyzee491 bikes are faster machines at drag racing but when you start to get on the track cars will always win. Cars can break faster and corner faster, the ability to break and corner faster means that car can unleash there full potential with out having to break early into the corners. Cars also have four contact points on the road meaning they can also distribute there power more effectively to the road meaning less energy is lost in the process. In result fast entrance and exit on corners.
