Im just sitting here and hoping both PS3 and 360 keep competing like this. I mean, yeah the fanboys are annoying as shit, but the games they put out to try and beat each other are simply orgasmic. Would Uncharted 2 have been as good if MW2 was slated to come out at a different time? Maybe not, but the pressure it creates does push the game designers to go that extra mile.

Oh, and I'm praying the Wii gets some better games, and starts to compete for rated M games.

actually Uncharted: Drake's Fortune only used 30% of the ps3's capabilities which means it could work on 360. However Uncharted 2: Among Thieves used 100% of Ps3's capabilities and it could not work on 360.

Sony had a contract with Universal Interactive for Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon. Sony owns %100 every Crash and Spyro on PlayStation 1. But yeah the new Crash and Spyro are not as good as the one from Sony. Naughty Dog is a wholly own Sony company.

I really love Uncharted 1 & 2 and Crash Bandicoot is a classic but I could never EVER get into the Jak and Daxter series... the only game I like in that series is Jak X Racing and only because it's a racing game.

PS3 doesn't really stand up to the Xbox for pure gaming. It's more of a 'do everything' machine whereas Xbox focuses on gaming and does it better.

I also don't plan on getting a PS3 unless they come out with a LOT more exlusive titles. I'm not rich, and the PS3 isn't worth it when so many great games are multiconsole.

I'm not picking a fight, I'm stating the facts. Xbox has better online and focuses more on games. The PS3 has internet and Blu-Ray and the PSN hardly compares to LIVE's marketplace.

I've already got a PC with a Blu-Ray player and high speed internet. This whole console war is retarded. I have no reason for buying a PS3 other than one or two games, and it's not worth the money. So not only do I miss out, but the devs don't get as much profit because people like me don't buy their game.

I've got a PC so I don't need the PS3 for the Blu-Ray or internet. That was the point I was trying to get across.

There are only one or two good PS3 exclusives, and there's no way I'm buying a $300 console just to play Uncharted 2. Too many companies release multiconsole games, so I'd not even use it that often because I much prefer the 360 controller and aesthetics.

I have both a 360 ps3 and pc(obviously lol) Imo the ps3 is incredible just for the exclusives but i guess it depends on your taste. Imo there are alot more then 1 or 2 good ps3 exclusives:

Killzone 2

Uncharted 1 & 2

MGS

Motor Storm

FFXIII Versus

Gran Turismo

Those are my favourite exclusives but there are still more like Heavy Rain, Little Big planet etc. I don't know about you but i much prefer playing the abouve exclusives over halo and gears of war. although mass effect is great

Killzone 2, Uncharted, and MGS are the only games I'd be interested in. I don't really play Halo or Gears anymore, but I'm a huge fan of RPGs and it seems like more come out for the 360 (Fable 2, Tales of Vesperia, Mass Effect).

Not a huge fan of racing games, but if I were I'd just get Forza Motorsport 3.

In all honesty, though, exclusives make no sense to me. Why not just go multiconsole and make more money? Or, better yet, combine consoles to make one super console.

Because if there was no competition then the only console left would SUCK because they could release what ever they want or up the subscription fees and no one could change consoles. The ps3 has quite a few rpgs although ffxiii did go to the 360, i thought fable was really overrated dragon age on the pc is much better and bethsda rpgs are awesome

Not necessarily. You have this presupposition that every company is greedy. If they collaberated and actually tried to put out a good product it would open up more opportunities for game developers and make it easier for consumers.

The first Fable was amazing, though I haven't gotten to 2 yet, I have high expectations. Dragon Age is multiconsole and I have no idea what Bethsda is.

Competition is extremely important for games the more competition the better titles that will be released. I have not played fable 1 :( and sorry, I meant Bethesda which developed fallout and elder scrolls games like oblivion.

Competition is good for game developers, but is unnecessary for console developers. Though I wouldn't trust either Microsoft or Sony to work hard and make a good product without competition, so I guess we're stuck.

I've got Fallout 3 for the PC. Couldn't get into it. And if I remember correctly, all those games are multiconsole.
