Its not about how good bass player he is. He sounded awesome, he had the groove with the music. But more important i think is what Tommy had with Stevie and Chris. They bonded, they were on fire, they were kickin'. They could talk about anything, Ive read in a book that Tommy and Stevie was really good friends.

Hey Tommy, I really don't mean to be...uh mean but, their are thousands of bass players that would have sounded much better with S.R.V. - you are a tight ( IN THE POCKET ) bass player but, when you think of all the killer 3 pc band bass players that have come and gone you are way on the bottom of the list....
