I too am unable to make the channel strip portion of this setup work in Logic Express. I can create the strips, but I can't attach them to the appropriate arrange tracks. The Logic Express manual implies that with a multitimbral software instrument everything will still be routed to a single output strip.
I am not able to create bus channels like you do at the end of the video. There is no + sign on my instrument channels. I am using the Aria mixer instead to control the player instance.
Why choosing 16 stereo out and why changing every midi channel in the Aria Player to a different output? Using 16 stereo out disables the freezing option in Logic.
