Please beware, teaching english is the biggest scam in the country . Planes land everyday with people believing they can . Take TEFL online at all costs if you must There are two other recognized certifications that I would recommend ahead of TEFL. Please do your homework .

Thailand is so beautiful!So many thing to see and experience..My favourite day is the King's Birthday, It's like the feeling of having christmas but much more magnificient,everybody celebrates with huge respect to this one person and his Queen..Asia is so different to Europe.Love thailand 4-ever!

I wish you the best. I am teaching English in Taiwan, and I am thinking whether or not I should have gone to Thailand. Well, I will be spending 2 weeks and 2 days there with my woman. Thailand is beautiful, and you can buy things cheap. However my salary for teaching English in Thailand would be 50% less than what I am making here in Taiwan. That is my concern.

Thank you!Ah,really? I want to work as a bartender in bkk since I quit school here and cant get employement through that. And I really arent that keen on a teachers job in thailand at all, (all my friends have that)..Guess I could be a waiter but chances of that arent big since I do not speak thai. I know what u mean about the salaries for teachers here, they aren't tempting.
