I've driven a 944Turbo (which also has an "S" model) that my friend owns.
You can't really tell whats what on the net- with that being said, you are making assumptions.
What I am saying is: A turbo'd MKIII Supra is still a MKIII Supra, it just more upgraded.
Seeing how the your 924S started from 1986-88 while the 924 class started from 1976-88, your 924S is still a 924 of the same generation but to be more specific, it is an "S" model. Same generation. It's a 924 in general.
