  • I loved this game, but I REALLY loved TMNT III!

  • i think this had very decent graphics for just a NES Game

  • Nostalgia! :D

  • in the ninja turtle games, i always play as donatello

  • 5:32 LoL!!! Idiots!

  • 1 hit kills= pretty easy special move

  • Ahhh, TMNT: the suckass poor man's version of The Arcade Game

  • 1 hit kills? cheater...

  • its pretty unfair that those foot soldiers are not being hit by those falling balls.

  • Scene 6 would always destroy me.

  • Absolute classic!

  • Looks way better than the first. Only thing I like about the first is the soundtrack in the water.

  • One of the best games of my childhood!!

  • I never thought the conversion would be this good.

  • Thanx for the memories!!! =D

  • How are the foot soldiers getting destroyed with 1 hit?

  • @brlegend ya ur rite coz as i remember it it used to take like 2 or three hits

  • @brlegend it's a special move .. where you press A and B ... and you do a middle air hit

  • Don't you just love it when the villans have laser cannons, laser blasters, robots, cyborgs, stronger mutants, alien tech, portals, vortex transporters, minimizers, indestructable body armors, technodrome, army of rats, and many more, and they still can't beat antique ninja weapons which were used thousands of years ago. If I were shredd-head I would literally shredd my head.

  • I miss games like this.

  • 10:14 reminds me of Dr. Wily ._.

  • how can normal attack kill the bad ninja using one hit??

  • i've got it for just 3 bucks!! :D nice deal!!

  • this playthrough brought to you by pizza hut

  • is it possible to play this 4player if i use four score?

  • @WhatNowRino nope. and when one thinks about it, had this game had 4 player support like the original arcade game, it would suffer horribly from slowdowns.

  • 0:26

    Attack!

  • I think I know the two who hate this game, Shredder and Krang.

    It's WAR!

  • lol 14:44 -15:22

hes looking at us while getting his butt handed to him.

  • I hated that damn winter level. Took me ages to get through that. Still a great game but pretty damn tough.

  • I'm suddenly craving pizza hut but I don't know why...

  • Though this game is not technically that violent, the low pitched screams of the bosses are chilling. It's weird how it's implied that they are not human or even alive, yet they let out those pathetic dying cries while the animal bosses and Shredder just fall down cold.

  • i remember playing this game when i was like 6 :) great game.. <3

  • after the game

"you made the barrel blow on purpose, that took a chunk out"

    "no i didn't"

"that's it! i'm taking you down"

"you and what ninja rat sensei?"

    "AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

  • It was one of the best games for the NES, and the awesome music in the game is great:) Pizza tiiiiiiime^^

  • Can you play as the bosses? I saw a cheat code awhile ago but I can't get it to work.

  • I've got this piece of shit, and it sucks more balls than Jenna Jameson!!!

  • @border205 Do you suck? This game was a phenomenon and is still a good game. It is also ungodly hard.

  • @Luigi84289 U must be still sucking your mothers tits, it is a piece of shit.

  • @border205 Yeah that really says a lot there. Nice argument.

  • @Luigi84289 He is a idiot;)

  • Man, the menu and level music takes me back

  • Will you do a Nes Longplay of The Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout soon please? We would love to see that one. Thanks dude.

  • Will you do a Nes Longplay of Operation Wolf soon please? We wanna see that one. Thanks man.

  • One thing always left me scratching my head was the fight with Baxter. When you beat him, the next cutscene shows that he is in the fly form, what the hell did I miss here?! He transformed almost instantly! But how, he blew up with that aircraft of his!

  • This is a true classic.

  • Apparently this is some sort of a super easy version of this game since the foot soldiers die with one regular hit and the bosses seem to have very little hp as well. That's not the case in the real version.

  • @Steambull1 I know it's been a long time and you probably don't remember leaving this comment. But in case you're wondering if you slide A-B it allows you to use the special move and you can waste 1 or 2 foot soldiers with one hit.

  • .1:07, The advertising begins.

  • i think i used beat this game one time when i was six or seven years old without using cheat codes and game genie it was hard but i eventully beat it its been 19 years sence i last play this game i really wish this game was on the wii virtual console or else i have to play it on the nes emulater i think i'll find the rom of tmnt II and the nes emulater right now this game is so damn good its to bad ubisoft couldnt make one decent turtles game like konami used to do back in the day

  • I hated this game on the nes.

Used to be so damn hard!!!

  • This game was fantastic back in the day, I bet it's still fun to play now, you know. Though I haven't played it in over fifteen years! I wonder if my cart still works? Hell, I wonder if my Nes still works.

    Anyway, great gaming here.

  • Bardzo Ulubiona Gra Na Pegazusa 5*****

  • 5***** 5***** 5***** 5***** 5*****

  • Does anyone share what I think? Old videogames like this gave me moments of laugh and enjoy...that playstation 3 games can't give to me

  • How do you upload vids this long?

  • @Kingofeurope

    Read our channel FAQ :)

  • hehehe, footclan tossing hug wrecking balls down the stairs, epic trap :>.

  • 34:45 = dick move lol

  • those damn 16 bit,,gotta love them,,lol

  • why does splinter look like a pig, when they carry him away

  • One of the best NES games ever, and definatly one of the best uses of a license in a video game ever.

  • @Persadish Was just going to say that. A great game. The C64 port was also pretty good.

  • @Persadish i give it a C-, i think the first game was better

  • No cheats were used - only savestates!

  • @cubex55

Bullshit no codes were used. All the bad guys getting killed with 1 regular hit?? That took two hits unless you did the fancy dojo kick. And the stage bosses took way more then 10 hits to kill. Those of us that have played this game a few times know your lying here.

  • mike is lighter than don...

  • One-hit knockouts on the Foot soldiers with a simple press of a B button? I did not remember seeing this when I played TMNT 2. I frequently press the B and A button at the same time to perform a strong attack. Otherwise, I had to hit the foot solders tiwce to destroy them each.

  • Yeah and the bosses die to fast... i remember that bosses took longer to kill. Dont know what they did to make enemies/bosses die faster, maybe just their game ver.? :-/

  • Is don holding knifes or his stick in this game?

  • Bow

  • 18:40 - Man - April is double stacked like a big mac there. Jeeze.

  • ... The only hard thing about the game is Krang. Seriously, just got to the end of the game for the first time. No game genie, no cheats, no second player. Just abused the hell out of the a and b attack. That's it.

No pattern, no strategy, he just keeps kicking and zapping you with no breaks. You just have keep beating on him and pray you have at least one bar of energy to take on the Shredders.

    ... Still damned good game.

  • I, too, had a problem with Krang. He seemed to be quick to counterattack when I tried to jump kick him. With many bosses, repeated jump kicks allow me to avoid their counterattacks. I just had to be quick with the evasion.

  • You guys need to learn to call top/bottom or left/right --- it'svery inefficient when you're walking towards the same target all the time.

  • Really bugs me that you two ALWAS go after the same enemy, when there are plenty others to choose from...

  • Personally, I like this version much more than the Arcade. Yeah, arcade has better graphics and sound, but the NES version is real charming. At least, for me.

  • I feel the same way about the original Mario 3.

The updated graphics are nice... but theres nothing like the original.

  • @bwarrior83 charming, right and have you always wore rose specs?

  • I still remember the code for 100 lives and start from any stage.

    B, A, B, A, up, down, B, A, left, right, B, A.

  • that was a fake code placed in EGM magazine for april fools day. only code for this game is stage select. if you want extra lives (unlimited), use game genie

  • No that code still works for both stage select and 100 lives. I have the game on my NES.

  • actually i forgot :)) EGM had made a fake code in its stupid april fools section so you can play as simon belmont. it wasn't for stage select or lives. it was a photoshopped pic in the days before photoshop was a household name.

  • ^^^^

So true. I have that mag somewhere in my basement. I swear I will scan that pic... and then beat them up for the LIES :>

  • I forgot that code thanks for posting it

  • You're welcome. I remember putting in the code when I was 11 and screamed at myself and restarted the game when I messed up the code. lol

  • When this game came out I absoluely loved it. I still begged mom to take me to the arcade to play the real version though.

  • i still ahave it somewhere in storage. only problem my NES is pretty much shot. It still works but its really showing its age mow (i bought it back in '89) so by 2009 and soon to be 2010 that'll make really old indeed. The system freezes, gets glitched up y'know that kinda thing. like i said its old... still not sure if it even works now (shoudl try hooking it up someday).

  • A new NES pin connector should do the trick, GladDestronger, good luck!

  • maybe (thinks out the idea) i just think its getting old... i gave it a lot of play over the years even after the Super NES, N64 and PS2 came out every so often i'd play Super Mario bros 3, Megaman 6, TMNT 2, Kirby's Adventure (only i heard of on the NES w/a battery back up memory) just to remember the good old days. But if it dies on me i'll maybe sell it to a museum or something.

  • Dont you mean richman?

Do you know how much it cost when it came?

  • I dont like that the levels are longer, becasue there was really not much to this game other than presssing AB over and over to kill foot soldiers.

  • PIZZA TIME!!

    COWABUNGA!

  • I didn't see the part where you fight both beebop and rocksteady.. maybe in the arcade? I remember seeing Shredder in the arcade with a bunch of clones, instead of the usual two on the NES. Too classic of a game following the remedial TMNT game.

  • Beebop and Rocksteady only appear as a duo in the arcade version of the game, after the sewer level. They were replaced by the fly transformation of Baxter Stockman, probably because they realized you already fought them just 2 or 3 levels earlier one-on-one, while the fly form of Baxter is a completely different fight, even compared to the previous fight against him, where he attacked differently.

  • this game is way classic. I like remembering the subtle differences from the arcade to the NES version, like the improved sound of the drill coming up from the floor in the first boss fight, and the more intense animation of the giant cannon balls coming down the stairs...

  • wow i havent played this n yrs lol

my game genie sense is tingin here cuz them enemies wasnt supposed 2 b that ez lmao:D

  • It's played on easy, that why enemies need one blow

  • oh ok well its cool 2 watch tho

  • I actually kinda prefer this version over the arcade version, despite its lack of 4-player capability. It even had an extra stage (or was there more?)

  • two new levels (Snowy Central Park and The Dojo), read the info XD

  • Oh yeah, I actually like the Snowy Central Park stage.

  • It's kinda cool, but like all levels in this game, it's hard as hell, we had lot of beating during the recording of this LP ;)

  • Pizza Hut Propaganda!
