competition going on b/w naturally gifted babygirl and a college graduate who probably worked her ass off to put out her name

personally think nikki killed that one. genuine jazz vocal

while haewon's sound like a korean culture assimilated style

both amazing but

@gumbyhasgun Maybe that stuff is going on, maybe not. I am a big Nikki fan, and a clinical psychologist and know from my work how easy it is to assume and read into something like this. It may mostly be that Haewon is a very reserved, not so spontaneous woman-seems like that from her other work. If it was so competitive, they might not have got together to jam in the first place. And singing it in english seems to take something out of it for Haewon. Still a marvelous jam.

Nikki Yanofsky is such an inspiration for me being able to sing this amazingly at such a young age. Although I am far below her singing standards it gives me hope to keep singing and playing music and doing what I do to one day achieve my dreams.

Haewon got good voice but she should not be shy when singing. if she is more open herself and into music more and enjoy herself, it would be awesome. Nikki dominates this song. I didnt know both of them but great singers.
