Wow! I had one (or more) of these puppets too! I loved Puffa Puffa Rice and was so sad when they stopped making it.

This was a direct tie-in to the "Banana Splits" show because Kellogg's originally sponsored it on Saturday mornings from 1968 through 1970 {the full title was, "KELLOGG'S PRESENTS THE BANANA SPLITS' HOUR OF ADVENTURE"}. This ad aired shortly after the series' premiere in 1968.
