I have had a lenovo g555 amd athlon II X2 320 m and ati hd 4200 model for 2 days.I have a similar problem. My fan comes working after 2 minutes of start up and it never stops even if I do nothing.yes its very silent but fan never stops.is there a solution? I see that lenovo g550s' fans stops and starts, stops and starts.but my g555 never stops and works silently at the background.is this a good thing?I mean is it better than g550s' problem? or this is a more problematic situation? is it same 4 u?
@kersoz2003 Its actually a good thing to keep the fan going, Notebook computers can get very hot! and heat is not good for any of the internal components. Some people even have to get after market notebook coolers just to keep it cool. Most notebook start the fan as soon as you hit the power button. Id say that it is good to have the fan on at all times because it is the only airflow that the CPU and GPU heat sink gets,.
Please help! My husband and I are in some desperate times and winning this contest for this computer would help our lives out a lot. Please view our video at following link(jellogurl84) and give us as many thumbs up as you can.
