@Wylade WTF dood come on is that even a question ska originated in jamaca in the 1950s, punk started in early 80's. ska is carribean mento mixed with american jazz and R&B. then theres english tone in 1970s when it came to england, then in 1980s to america. Idk how you cant tell the difference between the two I think its cause you havent heard lots of ska its 60 yrs old and doesnt sound anything like punk other then 3rd wave which mixes punk like Sublime. also known as Skacore.
