You may have missed that a large portion of hip-hop is collage. This may be a good track, but the worship of an artifact takes away from what the artifact points toward. The soul within is more important than the body that holds it. Dilla was making a beat and it is a good beat, but he would want to be a living part of art. Not a dead museum piece. Not a beautiful empty shell.
