does anyone else hate the new weapons as much as me i like the morph idea but i miss the old steel master iron and legendary now its just different form stuff
fable 3 was uhmmm different not as good as fable one i miss the inventory and the fact there where different styles of weapon and abit more spells and more to do it made it more easier fable 3 is uhmm ok but i think fallout 3 is the best game ever and your wrong where you say other fable games forced you to use one type of combat not really you could be a pure mage (hardest choice) but still upgrade melee and skill aswell with the general xp and the swearing was abit old

Also for me even though they made the game extremely simple I had a problem with the choice of weapons. @Ghostrider98745 I found out that bye doing different fighting styles your weapon changes, my heros blade for example turned into a katana at some point, not sure if cleavers are available too tho... also I know your get a shotgun when u kill alot of undead with the ranged wep.
also I hated having to go and fetch a letter or some shit everytime I wanted a character to be friends with me. and then taking them on a date. i kept doing it, and then they would run off becuase I had to fight.
honestly this is worst of the series. it basically took the "too easy" flaw from Fable 2 and made it far worse and the combat is soooo boring after you've used fire tornado for the 100th time. its basically spell-spam til you win as usual because the melee fighting is to single targetted and the gun combat lacks the interesting bits from the second game. i wouldn't bother buying this game if i were someone else. just rent it cuz its not fun enough to beat more than once or even once really.

Early in the game you can only shake hands and burp, but if you choose learn any other expressions, you are somehow forever cursed to using the newer ones to greet people. @XERZUS It won't be like fable 2, you do share a screen, but you have your own character, your own weapons, your own dog, you can interact physically with eachother still. Believe me, it's far better than fable 2's co-op.

This game has too many bugs to count. Heres a small list
- Player turns into a civilian when digging at certain times while playing co-op
- You can freeze the game when interacting with a co-op friend
- On a rare occation while playing co-op, the game may trap you in the sanctuary as ghosts where you may not leave or pause. Making you restart the game
- The players dog may occationaly float in mid air untill a cutscene occurs
I like the unbalanced moral decisions. Being good should be harder, that is the way it is in real life aswell. Ofcourse every now and then a bad choice should end up biting you in the ass but overall being the god king should mean personal sacrifice.
That way you can see how far your willing to go to be good instead of just deciding your going for a good playthrough at the start of the game.
@rimboruler There is some major glitches in the game as well for some cds.
Like the Glitch mine actually was LUCKY enough to get.
I can't finish a MAIN quest because of a stupid glitch, so now I'm gonna have to send the game back so they'll send me another game that doesnt have that glitch in it, or wait for the patch.
So there are actually glitches that effect the completation of the game.

You said it was less of a rpg and more of a life sim... How is this so? Probably my favorite thing in fable 2 was to get a job and work it and then go and buy houses decorate and run around in the city managing buildings with family etc. i liked the feel of the city and feeling like a hero doing work and making jokes. i just bought the game and it rocks! i think what lionhead studios REALLY wants you to think in the second half of the game is that it is hard to be a ruler, to make hard decisions that could benefit or hurt your people. i really thought the second half was going to be easy, but it was extremely hard to do it (in my own opinion, anyway). breaking promises or keeping them was something that really gave me stress.
You cant really give minus points because of the "moral unbalance" i mean lets face it its much more easier in life to be evil, think about yourself only and use people.
Being a hero is all about sacrificing everything you have for the good of others and not expecting anything back.
What that sounds like it fucking sucks? Well no one said being the hero is easy if you do good stuff only cause you want something yourself thats what they call a "anti-hero".
it has a good story line because in 1 jack of blades wanted to let the darkness in but failed,fable 2 you defeat the darkness and shut it back in one quest which is tiny as hell..in fable 3 you have to stop the darkness..
im just doing all the good choices in promises and what not.
Coming from a less hardcore gamer I don't think the moral decisions in Fable are all about mathematical balancing (good gives you this, bad gives you that). Maybe hardcore gamers are less sensitive to such choices, but being evil in Fable 1 and 2 felt a little gut wrenching.
I guess if Fable 3 had "unbalanced" decisions it just echos real life. If you don't want to be successful in life, be a moralist. If you want to have money, cars, and power, be a cunt.
hmmm ill probably rent this one, it seems just like the second one with a few tweaks here and there, i bought the second one and ended up selling it back to gamestop for 20 bucks less like a week later because it was very short and gets boring fast.

I have both games.
The Sims 3 is good if you don't cheat and if you get the some of the expansion packages. (Like late night)
Fable 3 is way better then fable 2, and it was fun also.
It depends on what you want to do in a game. If you want to kill monsters and play king get fable 3.
But if you want to dance the night away, grow old, and have kid (that actually GROW UP) play Sims 3 with the Late Night expansion.

I like the unbalanced moral decisions. Being good should be harder, that is the way it is in real life aswell. Ofcourse every now and then a bad choice should end up biting you in the ass but overall being the god king should mean personal sacrifice.
That way you can see how far your willing to go to be good instead of just deciding your going for a good playthrough at the start of the game.

these glitches are extremely minor how can these effect your rating?

@rimboruler There is some major glitches in the game as well for some cds.
Like the Glitch mine actually was LUCKY enough to get.
I can't finish a MAIN quest because of a stupid glitch, so now I'm gonna have to send the game back so they'll send me another game that doesnt have that glitch in it, or wait for the patch.
So there are actually glitches that effect the completation of the game.

@MajrMovieMadnes I meant the campaign. The storyline is better and the multiplayer is also kind of improved, but the campaign FEELS just like all the other halo's. Except for the space mission. But still, he should get Fable 3.

You said it was less of a rpg and more of a life sim... How is this so? Probably my favorite thing in fable 2 was to get a job and work it and then go and buy houses decorate and run around in the city managing buildings with family etc. i liked the feel of the city and feeling like a hero doing work and making jokes. Is all of the old city content still there and or if better or worse? and how is it less of a rpg? THANKS FOR READING!

i just bought the game and it rocks! i think what lionhead studios REALLY wants you to think in the second half of the game is that it is hard to be a ruler, to make hard decisions that could benefit or hurt your people. i really thought the second half was going to be easy, but it was extremely hard to do it (in my own opinion, anyway). breaking promises or keeping them was something that really gave me stress.

You cant really give minus points because of the "moral unbalance" i mean lets face it its much more easier in life to be evil, think about yourself only and use people.
Being a hero is all about sacrificing everything you have for the good of others and not expecting anything back.
What that sounds like it fucking sucks? Well no one said being the hero is easy if you do good stuff only cause you want something yourself thats what they call a "anti-hero".

it has a good story line because in 1 jack of blades wanted to let the darkness in but failed,fable 2 you defeat the darkness and shut it back in one quest which is tiny as hell..in fable 3 you have to stop the darkness..
im just doing all the good choices in promises and what not.

Coming from a less hardcore gamer I don't think the moral decisions in Fable are all about mathematical balancing (good gives you this, bad gives you that). Maybe hardcore gamers are less sensitive to such choices, but being evil in Fable 1 and 2 felt a little gut wrenching.
I guess if Fable 3 had "unbalanced" decisions it just echos real life. If you don't want to be successful in life, be a moralist. If you want to have money, cars, and power, be a cunt.

hmmm ill probably rent this one, it seems just like the second one with a few tweaks here and there, i bought the second one and ended up selling it back to gamestop for 20 bucks less like a week later because it was very short and gets boring fast.

If I wanted spells, then i would play oblivion, Fable 3 is a fun game, yes, it falls uner the RPG title, but just shut up @johnnybebad6. Garenteed, you have absaloutly no idea the time it takes to script, design and ultimately make games such as this.

you people really don't understand how ratings work. 5 is between really horrible and really great so 5 = mediocre, 6 is above average and 7 is good, 8 is great, 9 is very awesome and 10 is close to perfect, so when this guy gives it a 7.5 that means it is between good and great.
