they are shit. sure they will have good top end once you put alot of money into them. but still when you put a civic in a race that takes skill (a race with corners), the car understeers. and the reason why they have so many parts is because after the fast and the furious came out everyone started to make civics "faster". plus, the corolla is made to this day. the rwd platform was dropped because of cost. the corolla is the most bought car in the world.

first, both of you make good points, but i own both a 1997 civic, and a 1986 corolla gt-s notchback, ive found that ther are some runs id rather use the civic to race and some id rather have the corolla. the point is a race between two properly set up cars is ganna come down to driver skill. Therefor your argument invalid on both sides.

alright, first, that upside down thing is pretty cool, second, im not challenging the supras superiority over the 86 but the 86 does not flip very easy at all, ive had my passenger tires dig in and the driver side lifted a little but it didn't flip. i hydroplaned my civic last night and ended up with a tree up my cars rear. i loved that car, but im glad it wasn't my corolla. i will however be giting another civic to replace tho. i love civics and i love ae86s, they are both badass beast!
