I've seen a YouTube video that shows a closeup of Al Gore's famous chart, and it reveals that CO2 actually rises AFTER temperature rises, and thus can't be the cause of the temperature increase. I can explain theoretically why that would be: When temperatures increase, bodies of water - most notably the oceans - can't retain as much dissolved gases, so they have to release them, and thus the CO2 levels increase in the atmosphere.

@joecushley as for the economical view yes poorer countries would suffer more because coal and coal tecnology is cheap and proven to be reliable. renewable technology is expensive and unreliable. if your from a countries that have large mining sectors, like many in africa than yes your economy will be effected more than others. lastly glaciers recede and grow as is there life cycle yet more emphasis is put on ice melting than those that are increasing.
@joecushley I think it will help few people get rich and powerful. IF it also produces cheap solar panels (pretty much the only alternative, wind turbines can't go cheaper, and biofuels/hydro is just as environmentally unfriendly as coal) it would be a good extra... but there is no guarantee

While Al counts his money, the science is not settled. There is no consensus, unless you rely completely on computer models created by dollars from the people who want a carbon tax. I will stick with the measured data, that shows there are no climate variations out of the norm. The IPCC's mandate (created by Maurice Strong) is to ignore natural changes, and concentrate completely on possible man made causes. Then to throw out any dissenting views, and have politicians give the final report. SCAM

Most governments have secret or less secret agendas, so to watch data from one place only, is a narrow look. I also looked at the link with pages from NASA and it worries me to have 2 opposing forces. You guess which one I choose.

I've seen a YouTube video that shows a closeup of Al Gore's famous chart, and it reveals that CO2 actually rises AFTER temperature rises, and thus can't be the cause of the temperature increase. I can explain theoretically why that would be: When temperatures increase, bodies of water - most notably the oceans - can't retain as much dissolved gases, so they have to release them, and thus the CO2 levels increase in the atmosphere.

@joecushley as for the economical view yes poorer countries would suffer more because coal and coal tecnology is cheap and proven to be reliable. renewable technology is expensive and unreliable. if your from a countries that have large mining sectors, like many in africa than yes your economy will be effected more than others. lastly glaciers recede and grow as is there life cycle yet more emphasis is put on ice melting than those that are increasing.

@joecushley haha, okay it was an "honest mistake", but it was far from the only "mistake" in the report. ie. claiming nuclear energy to be cheaper than coal by using info from a nuclear energy company, basing claims on info in press releases and newsletters, claims which were based on reports done by climate change pressure groups, failure to peer review some claims, and failure to take into account differing views. the report is far from credible with systemmic failures like those above

We are too far from the Sun for that to happen and don't forget CO2 is a trace gas therefore has effectively zero influence on Earth's temperature. No one denies that climate change is happening, it's a natural process because we orbit a variable star.
The only point that matters is that climate change is not due to human activities as I said in my last comment.
