The one you list as "Tim Burtons" is the DC Classic standard logo from 1986 to today. Tim Burtons had two extra points at the bottom of the main tail point. Very simliar, but Tim Burton took the classic standard and actually added to it. Check the IMDB pictures of the first movie. Look at the chest logo.

Think the one for the Batman Begins did them justice for the role it was playing, he had bat shaped throwing stars and the edges on that particular shape would lend themselves to a weapon but I'd dare say the batman beyond shape would have been better. Less flat so you can make more of a wound and less of a slice.

ERROR... the Logo from Burton's first Batman is not correct. The Emblem on the suit had two extra protuberances on either side of the tail.

Forgot the symbol seen in most current continuity(as in Hush for example or Arkham Asylum(the game)) which btw is used in batman begins on the suit(not the bat-signal) In dark knight the suit symbol and bat-signal match once again...
