THIS SONG SHOULD BE PLAYED ON EVERY RADIO STATION ON EARTH. ALSO THE AMERICAN IDOL SHOULD PLAY IT AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH SHOW TO LET THE AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW THAT THIS THE WAY A SONG SHOULD SOUND LIKE.
@carmellabe Amen!!!!!! Somehow our World became lost. The soul, inner character moral spiritual ethic of everyone and everything became just greed, materialistic, and physical.
Music became just entertainment like sports, television, and movies.
You name it, everything became contaminated in the name of the "Me Generation" and greed.
Except for Unchained Melody,He'll Have To Go, and Way Down---I like Elvis Presley Boulevard Album from 1976 even better than Moody Blue Album from 1977.
Hands down, this is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I don't know why, I just feel something special when I listen to it. Thank you for posting this!
i listened on here to a concert from 1970 where elvis tells his fans at the hilton in vegas, that he had sold 200 million records within 15 years, and that was in 1970.so you all think about that for few mintues, they didnt call him the king for nothing...
@BloozeDaddy76 That depends what your taste is. One group of people say Jerry Lee Lewis is better. Another group of people say Roy Orbison is better. Another group of people say Neil Diamond is better. Another group of people say the Beatles are better. Another group of people say Chuck Berry is better. Another group of people say Michael Jackson is better. Another group of people say ACDC is better. Another group of people say Justin Bieber is better. I say all of the above is wrong.
The most beautiful man to ever walk this planet, and always will be. Elvis came into my life when I was 16 and his music has saved me in more ways than one. Almost as though, he is singing certain songs with me in mind, going through the heartache of life. I love him so much and there will never be another like him. This is one of my favorite songs he recorded. Elvis, your name will forever be etched in my heart, as well as your signature is etched into my inner arm. I love you, angel.
I so much understand what you are saying!!! Elvis was not only the most gorgeous singer and entertainer ever. I know he uplifted people's hearts, and sang words so beautifully to give us hope, and so many incredibly beautiful, warm-hearted moments in our lives
what a beautiful man and beautiful voice, Elvis, if you were here, I would do any thing in my power to see you and hold you tight in my arm...and never let go .you were the gift to all of us....
This Song should be put in every Music School Class in North America and Europe to Educate how young new singers and musicians are to properly make a song right.
I love all of Elvis' songs through the decades but my favourites are from the 70s as they are so autobiographical and he sang them with such passion and feeling. Thank you for sharing them with us on here
Beautiful song and images. Elvis was going through a very tough time at this stage in his life, most especially with loneliness and ill health. Perhaps this recording best reflected his mood at the time.
Jackie, picked one of my favourite songs, put a fine video to it, a very, very nice tribute to The King Himself. Thank you so much for posting this, and for all the loving work you have done to create it.
Im somewhat a young Elvis fan (he died 10 years before i was even born)... and i gotta say if it wasnt for you Jackie i wudnt even know half of these amazing songs! Thanks so much!
Great job as always Jackie, 10 Stars. This is such an absolutely brilliant song. Larry Gatlin wrote this song. The other song that Elvis recorded that was written by Larry Gatlin was "Help Me". I saw Larry Gatlin perform in South Lake Tahoe in 1984 or 1985 when The Gatlin Brothers were the opening act for Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. That was the only time that I ever attended a concert that featured any of those mentioned performers. This concert was the best concert that I ever attended.
Written by Larry Gatlin. Elvis recorded it the night of February 2-3, 1976 at Graceland. It is available on From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee, Moody Blue, and Forgotten Songs of the 70s.

Several people have sung this Larry Gatlin classic written for Dottie West.
Only one other person ever besides Dottie West can sing this song with SOUL.
That person is Elvis Presley.

People's opinion about who is better than Elvis Presley is like saying who is better than God. The reality is nobody.

One of the most underrated country songs ever written. Elvis does a good job, but Larry Gatlin wrote it and has the best version by far.

The haters have driven down the ratings on this video. Please rate it 5* if you think it deserves it. This is why I have all the ratings disabled
Thanks for your help

YT's ratings system is flawed, unlike your video, which has beautiful images set to a beautiful voice. 5 stars and two thumbs up every time.
