The help videos created take you step by step in creating and accessing these servers for the first time. They aren't operating system dependent at all and systems used in the videos are just examples.
Once you configure the server for the usage you need in the normal way. You can find many guides on the internet that cover this.
You have full control of the server so if you want to use Remote Desktop (under Windows) then you just connect initially using the system VNC provided by our platform, turn Remote Desktop on and then use Remote Desktop from that point onwards. You can of course install whatever applications you want on the system also.
@MyRsIrl Yes of course. You have full root control of the server just like a dedicated server, your level of control is the same. You will need to enable Remote Desktop in Windows by first connecting via VNC as this protocol is turned off in Windows by default on initial start-up.

Is there any free windows os available (or at least trial), as I find linux os - hard.
