Excellent, as always. I think this is the only time I have seen Tom without a cap! I have seen him in concert many times, and he always wears a cap. Why not this time, I wonder-anyone know?
I think the best version of this song is the version sung by Tom, Anne along with Bob Gibson on their cd, Best of Friends. I love the harmony created by all of them.
I agree. She doesn't spoil it except that there's something about the way her last notes seem to indicate there's another line. Is she making it into a 7th or something? I don't know enough about music chords to tell just what it is, but I find it somewhat irritating.
In any case, it must have been a blast for her to perform with Tom. He's such a generous guy he was probably doing her a favour.
Her final lines are going to a 3rd (G). And yeah, I know what you mean. Anne Hills has a great voice, but I would have tried to have redone the harmony on that part a bit, and go to the fifth instead (Bb).
@kagyukid and @jaia1996 ... there is a version of this song done by a couple in our church--- PatandJoeinMarin --- that I believe is is very good - similar harmonies, but different and sweet.

I actually like this version, not better or worse than the original, just different.
I saw the two in concert a year or so ago, and enjoyed it very much.
Anne has a beautiful voice and does great harmonies.

Lovely song, but I far prefer Paxton singing it alone, I don't think Anne Hills enhances it at all.

I was wondering why I had never recognized the title of this song - its accurate title is "Home to Me (is Anywhere You Are)".

Thanks for the correction.
