Engelbert has an incredible voice. I used to hear his songs on the radio - Srilanka Broadcasting Corp.(SLBC) in the 80's when I was a teenager. Today thanks to Youtube, Enge's fans and several uploaders, I have the previlege of viewing the videos. May God bless you all and may Engelbert live forever.

The first time i heared this song was in 1964(1963-1965) i am not sure and who was the singer on the album and my friend was learning how to sing this song with a guitar and i was in-love with this song i tried also but i can not do it my voice just don't make it and my guitar chords was lost , so i cried on the corner, today i still sing this song with guitar, Great song

Yes he would make a great Bond, but I could see him in a remake of Gone With The Wind, or the film about Chopin.....Any of the movies to do with great musicians. This is such a treat, and yes, I do have the DVD greatest performances 1967 - 1977....There are so many CD's that include this song, but a live taping ~ no not until the DVD and I thank engeclub for making it available on Youtube....I have seen Enge sing this, my favorite of all the songs he has ever sung, at many concerts over the years, but we didn't tape, so I do love to be able to click, and there he is, the absolutely best balladeer of all time...thanks again.

This recording is one of the 12 full-length classic vintage performances from the ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK GREATEST PERFORMANCES 1967-1977 DVD compilation, released in 2007 by

"Reelin' in The Years" Productions LLC. Most of the clips are taken from his own variety show 1969-70. The DVD is great, with old Engelbert telling the story of each featured song and also recalling experiences with other great musicians he has met along the years.
