I respect your views...I love fish, Beef, Chicken, vegetables, and fruits...so I'm still alive and kickin.
When I transitioned to a vegetarian diet for 7 months, I suffered depression, a lack of sleep, I was always fatigued...I've tried everything on a vegetarian diet, but I felt my health was suffering.
If it works for you, and if that what makes you healthy...then great, but me? My health suffers...so? I'm not perfect.
but refusing to partake of something important to our diet is foolish. I disagree with you 100% there is absolutely no point to vegetarianism. Peta also makes money from over-exagerating because they gain supports and donations.
@sowheresthefire Actually, I am quite healthy. My diet is closely monitored by my doctor. I am on supplements and whatnot. But yes, some of Peta's things are too dramatic and whatnot, I do agree. I support animal rights, though, not Peta specifically.
Also, vegetarianism CANNOT be practisedby everyone. people in third world countries depend on meat to survive. people like me who have an extremely hard time gaining weight cannot live only on milk, eggs, and vegetables. BTW check out a milk farm,it might stop you from drinking it too. Anyway, i disagree with the way SOME animals are treated, KFC and their process of de-beaking chickens is horrendous...
This is an essential part of diet. Most vegetarians who do not get b-12 shots are moody and suffer from side effects similar being a bipolar and then take medicine to treat a non-existant "condition" it is impossible to create vitamin b-12 shots without animals, therefore vegetarians who take the shots are directly harming animals.
First of all, peta is exagerated nonsense. I have worked summer jobs in farms and none of that has happened in the meat industry. Vegetarianism is not practical, as meat provides you with Vitamin b-12 which is ONLY found in the acutal tissue of animals.
