  • @CRAZYfangirl18 Anime IS tekenfilms... Alleen uit Japan...

  • just love the look

  • @LolitaCostumes

I hope you know that Lolita is not a costume, but an actual fashion.. just saying. :P

  • Lolita clothes is something I would rather wear to special occasions, to be honest. I think it's almost too elegant and beautiful to use as daily wear.

  • if anyone wants subs i can try to make them

  • I love the ruffled look

  • I dislike when they make lolita look like a cosplay style. some view it as a lifestyle not costumes to otaku festivals.

this is a cool video though

  • Totaly elegant, and cute,......

  • Hey I will be in the netherlands this summer... anyone know where this store is located??

  • @CryptsDay please check out the website of this store, mfashion . eu

  • Dont be hatin on amazing stuff like this!

  • I live in a city very close to that shop.(btw, i never saw anyone in the netherlands walking in this kinda clothes, maybe bacause that i a very very expensive shop

  • @Ella6361 The shop is already around for 5 years ;) and there are enough of girls buying these clothings! It is not that exspencive.. it is just not the poor quality like h&m clothings wich are cheap.. this is high quality.

But Mfashion also sell some cheaper brands now.

  • @gothiclolitagirl You were right i've been there a few days ago and there are some really nice dresses that are less expensive than I first thought. sow i just ggotta say that I reallyreallyreally love the shop

  • @Ella6361 thank you!

  • It's so wonderful that they got a spot on TV!

  • Asians always look best in Lolita style. :3

  • @LVVisgay :3 Actually thats quite inccorect! I have seen some western girls where lolita. and Asians comment saying how they look better. But then again. Lolita is for anyone any size. So it doesnt matter who wears it best. Lolita is for wearing, for yourself. No one else

  • @Animeluv32 that's so true

  • hm i am lonely goth girl looking for some company

  • *Zucht* echt he .. vooral hier in Groningen >__>

  • @DaffAngel

  • Does Anyone know the song that used in this video?

  • Papichan by Moon Kana. :)

  • 0:51 papichan from moon kana!

  • Of course if you ask only the old people what they think, most of them will say they are shocked...

  • the outfits are really cute

  • lol i can't understand! nice video though.

  • I think they look awesome. They look like a real life Salor Moon type of fashion girls. More people should wear those.

  • Mfashion in Holland

  • dit soory kleding moet je trouwens ook echt gewoon staan...ik vind het ook echt heel mooi...maar alsowiezo zou ik er nooit in lopen omdat iedereen je aanstaart en ik daar echt niet tegen kan...x.x;

  • haha i love turning heads

  • He never said they never appealed to ANYONE. Jeez he's just giving his own personal opinion! You should respect that! He didn't say anything about perfection! He just said he believes the Lolita style doesn't fit caucasians. Some people might think the same. Why be so mean?

  • Yeah but a lot of asians are tiny and thin and they look younger than their age, that is a big plus for the lolita look.

  • The music was really cute~

It would have been cool to read some subs to see what the Netherlands thinks of it.. but otherwise, thanks for posting! These girls were super cute and knew what they were doing with their coordination.

  • They make them look like a gang.

  • kawaii, kawaii, KAWAII!!! it's all i can say!!! those 3 gRlz r sooo cewt i want those out fits xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • the people that are walking by make a bad face lol

I would smile if i see a hot lolita walking in the streets

  • I think I accidently spammed you think ing I was hitting repley I am so sorry. I was out of comment limit. anyhoo I have blue eyes and dirty blond hair. with fairly pale skin(canadian) I dye my hair a reddish brown though. like a hazel or a chestnut. would that work? I love this style

  • I dont know it works on some of them depending on the dress and the person see gothic lolita is kind of victorian

  • I love all their clothes, shoes and umbrellas! I have that kinda umbrella and it has a bunny on the top :) I enjoyed seeing the surprised people staring after the girls. Some people thinks its strange to wear clothes like that, and clothes thats different. But I think its great, and everybody shall wear what they like without people saying ''Look at her, what weird clothes'' or like that. Everybody shall be theirselves, keep wearing what you like :)

  • I think they look awesome!!! anyone can be lolita

    toranoko channto~♪

    hariito channto~♪

  • aw. i luff lolita styles. (but im too poor to afford it. god dammit.) can inyone tell me were i can get lolita?

  • omg, lolitas, the beutiest and cutest beings on this world owo

we guys better care them xD , kodonas are for lolitas ^w^

great vid 5/5 and favourites.. ..

its true they have no to looke perfect, theyre almost perfect.. ..

  • don't understand very much but it's cool that everywhere in europe reports about gothlolis came imortant. i'm german:D

  • ...So this is in what language? I have heard this language before....

  • Relax... Hyakushi said that particular style. Though Lolita is derived from Victorian... Which is from Europe obviously. But anyway, chillax.

  • Anyone know whats the BGM that playing?

    i like it

  • sorry to say this <.<

But this style doesnt .. really fit .. caucasians ...

but im sure some looks good in it ^^

  • You do know, that style came from EUROPE.

  • i just think they didnt have the right people in the outfits. i think it would fit caucasions, just not this one. some look pretty darn good in it imo.

  • we're the ones who invented rococo.

  • I'm asian - but my two best friends are caucasian, and they look great in GL!! >=P

  • Oh, you're French too? ;-)

  • If anything caucasians own it. Since they took it from the victorians.

  • hey im hispanic and people say i look cute. you just have to look young like cute

  • Not only you proved yourself to be a racist weaboo faggot but you proved yourself how literally idiotic you are. Gothic Lolita obviously fits European girls especially from age 8-14. Hell, 99% of the dolls are caucasian.

  • actually the cutest goth lollis I have ever seen have been caucasian. They have thiner longer legs.

  • Uhm... let's see, Lolita, which was inspired by the west and European clothing from a couple hundred years ago, doesn't "fit ..caucasians ..."?

Hmm... time sit in the thinking chair and THINK.

  • I guess you've never heard of Emilie Autumn before...

  • ...It comes from the Victorian style.

    Which is quite caucasian. ???

  • eh, agreed

  • i love it!!! im cryin 4 real i envy them

  • What an unattractive language. It's hard to listen to. D:

    The style is adorable, though.

  • i bet these clothes are expensive :C

i wish i could wear such cute clothes

  • the first song is moon kana - papichan

  • hello, can any1 tell me where lolita shops in the netherlands are? we have a small house close to denHaag and im there every holiday =)

  • omggggggg i know everyone is saying this but how could u think gwen stefani started this? dont get me wrong i love her style but japanese street fashion started way long ago which is why japan is like the top of the fashion industry ! UERRRRGGG

  • Damn, I really want those clothes. And the name of that song! xD

  • oh wait.. it says in the description box that its from netherlands..

  • waa~ it's papichan by moon kana.. :D

Gwen Stefani didn't start "Harajuku Fashion."

    ofcourse it's from japan..

    and lolita too..

    inspired by Victorian/Old English stuff..

but not, in any way, related to the novel

    LOLITA.

  • thats from the netherlands, I had a friend from there, thats what that language sounds like.

  • I LOVE JAPAN

  • lolita has been around since the 80s. thats way before gwen stefani! although I am a fan of her, she did NOT start harajuku fashion you dummies!

  • wow. A girl with a Turkish name, speaking Dutch with an American accent, wearing lolita clothes. cool.

AND BTW-WTF!!! GWEN STAFANI DID NOT CREATE IT YOU STUPID PERSON!!!

  • Eeehh?? Is Moon -kana-'s song? That sounds like her song :D Is this in German??

  • She ment: Mfashion - gothic lolita fashion from Japan - local tv show

So she ment: Fashion from Japan.

  • sure it a JAPANESE [local] show?

  • its dutch :)

  • It definitely is not. It's a local Dutch show. (Title is wrong, description on the right is correct.)

U Vandaag is the channel of one of the provinces in the Netherlands, namely Utrecht, where the town of De Bilt is located, where the store is.

  • I think what the author meant to put was "Mfashion- gothic lolita fashion from Japan, local tv show"... so the author never said it was a show from Japan, just that it was about Japanese fashion, though the title of the vid could have been phrased better. :)

  • I don't read the descriptions always. no big deal I thought the same till I read the comments lol

  • you read it wrong,

they say the fasion is from japan, not the show.

En ;; waar is die winkel♥.♥

    hopelijk dicht bij be xD

  • I saw lolita goth fashions pop up in Japan 2002 in harajuku only, but a friend told me lolita type fashions were around since the mid 80's (possibly longer), usually worn by pop idols.. So ya, Gwen Stephani discovered it at the end of it's peak really. I wonder if Gwen knows about visual K?

  • what song is that on the video? lol is wierd i like it

  • We dutch people are so lucky that we actually have a shop like this!

    gogo lolli chan!

  • whats lolita?

  • Well , there are several , but Japanese lolita is street fashion .. More than that , it even became a lifestyle ! Uhm , you can find a lot about it on net ... IMPORTANT :

It has nothing to do with Vladimir Nabokov`s novel !!!!

  • Nothing to do with Nabokov's Lolita? Ha! How about taken its name!

  • a fashion from japan based on victorian an rococo period style clothing

  • literature reference to a book.

its kind of turned into an independent

    phrase though.

  • whatch jpn movie Kamikaze Girl (Simotsuma Monogatari, 2004)

  • gwen did not start this fashion!!!

  • Wow this lolita style is becomming popular in every country.

I own a cute lolita dress myself now :)

  • lolita has been around alot longer than Gwens label. its become more recognised since she brought attention to it. i had a lolita dress before Gwen started singing about it.

but that happens with alot of things in Japan, they are way ahead in alot of things.

    i love the look

    kawaii

  • Gwen Stafani did not start the EGL fashion. The EGL fashion was introduced in 70's. Several Japanese clothing companies such as "Baby the Stars Shine Bright" and "Angelic Pretty" sold outfits and accessories

  • Eleazar, Gwen Steffani did NOT start this style, she loves Japanese fashion from what I've heard (think she mentions Harajuku in one of her songs) The style was first seen in Japan, but it's taken from Victorian times.

  • i love lolita. x]

  • from which label are the clothes in the shop they visit???

  • they have different brands like meta,btssb moitie,heart E and more ;)

  • They have lots of different labels like baby the stars shine bright and angelic pretty. :D

  • The song in the background is by MOON Kana

  • Gwen Stefani started this fashion first, and nobody said anything, now, those silly japanes girls wear it, is "cool", mmm..............

  • no she didn't, :S where did you get your information from??

  • HAHAHAHAHA DO YOU REALLY THINK GWEN STEFANI STARTED LOLITA

mannnn you need to do some more research into the fashion. lolita was around long before stefani sunk her claws into japan. :|

  • Actually, she was one of the first Famous Americans (besides Anime fans, or people originally from Japan) to acknowledge The Japanese fashion of Lolita. In her song, "What You waiting for?" She says, "I can't wait to go back into japan...Osaka, Tokyo, you Harajuku girls, damn you've got some wicked style!" The harajuku girls she mentioned, were the Gothic Lolitas found there! <3

  • .... lolita started in japan back around the 1970's

Gwen Stefani was born in 1969, so how would she start the lolita fassion at the age of 1 or posibly 2?

  • no, el lolita comenzo mucho antes que eso, Gwen Stefani solo "promociono" a las harajuku girls, corrigeme si me equivoco, and sorry but I can´t write in english gommen nee

  • Did you hear her song, Harujuk Girls? Man, Harajuku is a place in Japan, it's the centre of japanese street fashion... Gothic Lolita, cosplay, everything. Gwen said herself that she is very much impressed of this culture, you should look at the lyrics of Harajuku Girls. Maybe you didn't notice but nearly all in her new videos there are _japanese_ girls... -.-

  • Ah, Harajuku. Don't forget the Takenoko and Rockabillies...

  • wat? I think it's the other way around.

  • no she didnt

  • gwen didn't start that fashion

    your an idiot

  • Actually some of the origens* of lolita came from the 19th Centuary.

And she Did Not start this fashion at all.

She got inspired by it at the most.

  • Gwen Stefani did NOT start this fashion. Are you retarded or something?

  • HAHAHAHAHA! Lols... you are so wrong! Sooo not gwen steffani!

  • uhh, this has been around before Gwen Stefani. why else would she say 'Harajuku girls, you've got the wicked style!'?? the style started in the 70's and was underground until Mana from Malice Mizer helped to popularise the look, and owns his own store called Moi meme Moitie. Gwen Stefani just buthchered the look and created 'pseudo Lolita'.

  • Lolita fashion started in Japan in the 90's. maybe you should look it up before you randomly assume something.

  • she fucking stole it from harajuku and street fashion. and that was her "twist" on it.

    she didn't start it.

  • this fashion started a long time ago dummy,do your homework next time.

  • Yes, Gwen Stefani CERTAINLY did NOT create Harajuku. She just loves that sort of fashion.

    Do research, kiddos.

  • no she did not she liked the fashion and i am a gwen stefani fan but she did not start it and it will not end with her

  • are you freakin joking????

Lolita has been there waaaaaaaaayyyyy before gwen stefani discovered it...

  • exactly!!!!!!!!!! =D

  • How did she start it first?

  • err. no

Harajuku started in Japan because there were students who wanted to wear something else, which means not their uniforms.. Gwen stefani has taken over this style with her Harajuku girls.

  • omg ur so lame u really dont know where it all started lol

  • err yes i do, because i researched it.

  • taken over? it was just a videomusic or two in which she used that clothing.

  • this is the most stupid comment ive ever read before... REALLY

  • ...man, you're stupid. Don't say ignorant things like that! Do some research or you're bound to get yelled at by people who love this culture.

  • Hmm.. Ionno.. i think Japanese Lolita is better looking XD

  • lolita is so beautiful

  • sweet

  • cool

  • in which city is this shop?

  • Bilthoven in the netherlands, nearby Utrecht.

  • the song is made of Kana...

dunno what the song is named, but Kana is singing it. rly cute^^

  • the song, i beleave (im probably wrong) nis nekochan by kana

  • its Papichan...but I love Nekotan!

  • no this is papichan from moon kana ^^
