I watch Part 1 and Part 2 immediately after and I did not click that this actor played 2 completely different parts in each film. Michael Parks is surely one of the most underrated actors going. In this scene especially he takes my complete attention. I love how he plays Esteban to be quite sleazy (with the winks), but also he's incredibly charming. How many actors could do unpleasant and curiously pleasant at the same time?

Great scene, great acting. However, there's a mistake that becomes immediately apparent to native Spanish speakers: Esteban is pronounced EsTEban, not EsteBAN. The accent is in the middle sillable, not the last. As the Bride is a native English speaker, her mistake is normal, but Esteban should have replied, "Only on the condition that you call me EsTEban..."
