@devilwarr1or the Warrior was among the best wrestlers of all time. He is most likely the MOST inspirational wrestler for children to watch, and was a very solid human being in his beliefs. In MY ex-wife's opinion, I'm gay but I have a beautiful soon-to-be wife and children. It's strange how someone who has spite enough to use it against someone can really damage so much of the virtues that this man STILL incorporates into life of not only himself, but many, many other people, including kids.
This was extremely painful to watch. If you look closely the Warrior actually died for about 10 seconds during the match... SIGH! This is a prime example of why older wrestlers need to just know when it's time to give it up. I loved you back in the day Warrior, but for your sake and the sake of your loyal fans, STAY GONE THIS TIME!!!

BTW: For you haters, look again at all the moves: top-rope suplex, high hip tosses, body slam off ropes, wearing down body parts, feats of strength, good ol' fashion slugging, out of ring shanagans/fighting, comebacks from both sides, close counts, showmanship, great bodies, (glitter?).
In all, not the best match of course, but a good match considering Warrior hasn't done this in years.
Good match. It was great to see him in the ring again. Kudos to the organization who let Warrior in.
Warrior needs a few matches like this to get back his wrestling presentation skills as well to increase his cardio. Hopefully, this is the start of a new chapter of wrestling for the Warrior.

most of the people in the crown probably don't even know who the ultimate warrior is. in the mid 80s when the warrior was the man, many of them either weren't born yet or hadn't started watching wrestling. warrior was one of the craziest mofos and most entertaining wrestlers ever.

That is a good point. If he was billed at 6-2, then taking away 7 inches should leave him at 5-7. The boots pushed him up again to 5-9 1/2 to 5-10, but that may be it. Fans often do not want their heroes to be under six feet tall.
Given the age and lack of wrestling for as many years as he hadn't, Warrior looks good in this match. His timing is not bad either, which is the first thing that suffers when you start getting old. Not too shabby, and by the standards he wrestled by this was one of his better matches.

This match isnt terrible, especially for a 50 year old man. He just needs more cardio and a little more flex training. His body is in incredible condition for 50.
Jim's true passion is bodybuilding. He wasn't a fan of wrestling. He just treated it as a way to make a living. He isn't well regarded in the world of wrestling, but somehow I don't believe he's quite the asshole he's made out to be.
I am not the biggest Ultimate Warrior fan. In fact, I've overall mixed feelings about him. But to be honest, this match was a LOT better than described. Warrior seemed to have developed a little more technical finesse, his promo made much more sense, and he could have used a little more cardio, but he didn't seem much slower than his opponent. I'm just being honest, I'm not a big warrior fan! Why is everyone downplaying this match so much?? I don't even like him, but I admit this match was okay.

That is a good point. If he was billed at 6-2, then taking away 7 inches should leave him at 5-7. The boots pushed him up again to 5-9 1/2 to 5-10, but that may be it. Fans often do not want their heroes to be under six feet tall.

Given the age and lack of wrestling for as many years as he hadn't, Warrior looks good in this match. His timing is not bad either, which is the first thing that suffers when you start getting old. Not too shabby, and by the standards he wrestled by this was one of his better matches.

This match isnt terrible, especially for a 50 year old man. He just needs more cardio and a little more flex training. His body is in incredible condition for 50.

Jim's true passion is bodybuilding. He wasn't a fan of wrestling. He just treated it as a way to make a living. He isn't well regarded in the world of wrestling, but somehow I don't believe he's quite the asshole he's made out to be.

I am not the biggest Ultimate Warrior fan. In fact, I've overall mixed feelings about him. But to be honest, this match was a LOT better than described. Warrior seemed to have developed a little more technical finesse, his promo made much more sense, and he could have used a little more cardio, but he didn't seem much slower than his opponent. I'm just being honest, I'm not a big warrior fan! Why is everyone downplaying this match so much?? I don't even like him, but I admit this match was okay.

Whatever, I enjoy watching the Warrior. He's got charisma. Not the best wrestler, but the whole One Warrior Nation was pretty bad ass. Too bad everyone hates him.
