I don't get this show at all. Astro says that he fought Atlas once, but in the episode in question, it show flashbacks to an earlier fight between the two. Are we just skipping over episodes or what?

The episode featured in the flashbacks was a Japan release only (i have the box set.. it'll tell you) anyways.. if you look up the mighty atom or astro boy vs. atlas you may find what you are looking for if you wish to see what traspired between them in the past. It appears from the dvd's that the american releas actually had those scenes cut, they first fought in episode 1 part 2. (atlas would have won.. but he grew a concious)

If you noticed they were extreamly close to earth, thats why she started burning up almost instantly.. they were still in earth's gravitiy.. thats how she was able to fall in space. Atlas and Astro didn't because they can obviously fly!

@roflninja10 I disagree, I think he's more like Magneto. He isn't really a bad guy, he just has this dream that is a danger to humans. Plus the trauma he went through was brutal.

I've been looking for this episode FOR YEARS. Finally, I found it. I used to watch it on VHS. Took me to a trip down memory lane. The episode itself is nothing special but I just love the music at 19:25 and at 21:55 even more. After 20+ years they were still fresh in my memory but I needed to listen to them again.
