  • A load of shit...did your smithing at a Tech???

  • Enjoy watching someone good at what they do. You are good at what you do !!

    Thanks !!

  • Yea, that was great, thanks for posting! Very professional!

  • Nice presentation, enjoyed watching, thanks!

  • well i am a true blacksmith i dont see any blacksmithing here all high tech

  • @deweybowling

I agree. I prefer videos where people show their skills producing items with simple but effective methods, so you can benefit from their knowledge by reproducing their methods. No way to reproduce what is shown in this video if you not the owner of 100k$ equipment and tools.

  • yeah yeah thats what i am talking about this is the type of video people out there should be making not like other videos i have seen

  • Envy,... uurrggghhh. I'm dying of envy.

  • gooooddd

  • It's so awesome! :D real IronArt. Greetings from Poland :)

  • Very good!

  • Hey, man... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And that thing is awesome. As working artists, needing to do what you do within time constraints, etc, I think you do a good job of blending old traditions with new methodologies to create. Awesome. Also... can I have your sign? I need an anvil... :)

  • Damn, you guys have a cool job. You're real artists.

  • i understand that we live in the "modern" age but i hate to use arc welding on forged pieces. you have an amazing shop and production I'm sure is key but the beauty lies within the old techniques of forge welding and cutting plate with hammer and chisel, or hacksaw. I'm not saying that that wasn't cool, but imagine if that piece was made with traditional techniques then it would be amazing.

  • Personally, I'm happy to weld something as long as the weld is hidden. Modern electric welds visible on forged pieces can entirely ruin their aesthetic appeal. All this said, that sun flower is very nice!

  • he cheats i use to work for a artist and cut these babys by free hand( the sunflowers)

  • wow. amazing.

  • did u say 2 inches thick?

  • Yay! Thanks. It was a real fun project to work on (and the only time I was allowed to get away with animating a chicken on a video piece). Hee! :)

  • How do you make the machine cut it from such a simple cad drawing? Do you have to dimension it? Please show me

  • How many hours labour!!??In the UK the bill would be £2grand just for the flower!!Workshops are very greedy over here, dont we know it,I used to ru a few!!

  • "all dat work for a stupid sunflower"

Typical reply from someone who doesn't know how to spell the word "that".

  • MORON.

  • I mean .... KholdAxe, you are a MORON.

  • well, i mean, it's a sunflower. They could be making useful things like machetes and hardies and hooks and shovels and tools and stuff, you know

  • thats interesting, has anyone shot themselves with it in the hand by accident? i wonder what the docter would say if you came in and said"i lost my finger to a water gun!!"

  • Check out NWR Films "The Life"! The trailer KICKS ASS! =)

  • thats pretty...I like it.

  • hey this was really cool when I saw it on american chapper 5 years ago!!!

  • This has to be just about one of the coolest videos on Youtube.

  • The thing is, once a video on here gets a certain amount of hits,

people come on here to plug their own video's in a hope to improve their own views.

    I would NEVER do that!

    Cheerio,

  • beautiful work. nice upload

  • Pretty darn cool ;)

  • I used to work at Woodard's Wrought Iron Furniture Factory and used similar tools on the job there. Except we had a full-time Blacksmith working there.

  • Totally rad dude!

  • Documentaries... man movies! Very well done!

I use to work on hydraulic systems of tank turrets in the Army. Most people just don't realize how much power goes through hydraulic lines. It's not so different from this water cutter. If a hydraulic line bursts while you're standing next to it, it could literally cut off your arm.

  • Very pretty!

  • Great work. I was wondering at what speed would the water jet cut through 30mm Granite?
