I don't want to be an Aussie telling a Scot about his country or anything, but Brochs were Iron Age forts dating to about 2000 y BP. 10k years ago and this site would have just seen the last glaciers melt. You might be a technical fire geek, but remember - when it's rocks and monuments - i've got it covered.
meh, rob, ignore this guy. do it in vienna next time (when i'm here of course, unlike last time) so that i can watch or pretend to watch as i shoot off a million pics... that you have to wait 3 years to get ;)
