i did it by building a foam tower on top of the building left of the blue thing. Jumped off it slowly, but holding the X button, i hit the ground with a boost.

Took me a few tries though. Had to postition it just right.

yeah where is the switch to lower the bridges? all i found was the switch to lower the hatch door, someone please help!

Seriously, I'm on the verge of beating the game, I know that the switch to lower the bridge is shown during the game, I don't want to start all over again just to find it. Where is the freaking bridge switch?
