I met father Louie when he first came to the coast back around 1977. He was my priest in Biloxi at Fatima. As a young kid, I admired him because he was very different than the typical priest. He was very approachable and out going.
I just stumbled onto this video and it is very cool to hear that father Louie is still alive and on the coast. The military took me from the coast over 20yrs ago and my heart goes out to all the people down there who went through Katrina.
Ahh. Good ole St. Thomas. I remember seeing the church after the storm. Devestating.

I love Fr. Louis!! He is my favorite priest ever! I miss Long Beach and St. Thomas so much but I always think about them here in Colorado.
