  • If you are planning to restore this one, here's a tip , use some fine wet sandpaper on a piece of glass, it will need a bit more grinding but it will brighten back up eventually. I wouldn't recommend using steel wool on kitchen knives.

  • I think you should make a series of videos of you trying to fix this knife ! It will be very interesting. I haven't seen something similar so far .

  • I like the idea of going into the place where something is made and buying from the craftsman himself/ It looks like a nice knife and you might want to try some Barkeepers Friend on it before you take steel wool to it. Just dampen the powder into a paste and cake it on and let it sit for a while and then buff it off. Youll probably have to do it a few times/ Then, if you have any leather strops, use black or green compound to buff the sides of the blade, it will probably polish right up.

  • @traderjoes I'll try that out. The place was really an experience.

  • They say: If this knife ever rust, you will die!

  • thanks for sharing this!

btw ive gotten rid of some mean rust on some of my old blades with a green scrubby pad and that worked great, but if oyu want a mirror finish youll have to do some buffing.

  • @crazzyxjoex yeah this one is going to take a lot of work
