  • Simplicity is complicated for us. When we find, we understand that is our essence.

  • What 11 idiots would dislike something so peaceful and beautiful such as this? This is more then a masterpiece. This is Godly.

  • purrfect!

  • I find this to be very transcending, love is expressed in a more profound way, definately inwardly. Beautifully expressed for all humanity, standing up for what is right resignates within all of us.

    BEAUTIFUL!

  • Love the composition!..

  • I wish there was a place or village were people would be able to live as they did in the movie. If there was such a place I would never leave especially if they played music like this all day.

  • this song goes well with a nice cup of green tea..

  • essa intrumental é simplismente linda quando escuto eu choro não sei por que mas choro

  • Life depicted in this movie seems like a fairy tale and brutal but action and justice was swift. Nowadays justice is to make you suffer financially and take everything away from you that you worked for. However, life back then was also hard in its own perils for that time.

  • there is nothing like matching yourself against the world layin your plan of life on faith's plate...at times lying to yourself hiding a lovely truth.

  • Beautiful...mmmm...

  • simply beautiful

  • Man I wish I was living back in them days.... Wouldn't trade it for the world.

  • Haha, I think dizzypilots has a problem, this is a film about Japanese history, stop mentioning Communism if you think its not a communist country and no, Im not a communist. Lol..go back to your Nazist friends.

  • beautiful music. just listen and enjoy.

  • u either alone or really bored.

  • seriously, is everyone going by thumbed up comments these days? If that's the case 90% of youtube states that Justin Bieber and all the dislikers have to die.

Woopty doo, you got a thumbs up, doesn't make you right, especially stupid ass vague statements such as industry ruined us, like we were a better people before hand, STFU GTFO and read a fucking book.

  • fuck all you thumbs up bed wetting commie rats, per dumbodavedickhead

  • we can improve our lives by using technologies & at least try not to forget who made us enjoy what we have these days...simple!We r human as well as clever animals that sadly tend to destroy their habitat...word "clever" fades

  • i love the instrument (sounds like a flute of some sort?) at the end; 7:24

  • I can't listen from like 3:40-5:40 that rythim deadasas makes me cry lol

  • I would give everything for just living a day in those years, holding a real Katana in my hand and learning the Bushido Code.

  • Please, if anything our way of life now has become better with new technology and advances in science. Industrys provide us with Food, water, shelter, work and medical care avalable for everyone and anyone. "Back in those days" you was lucky enough to live into your 30's.

  • @onlynicc16 There are indeed some good things that technology has given us, but when you think about it people's values have been ruined now days. Many people are lazy and many more struggle to live and support a family because of the vast inequality. People had better values and were focused on the important things in life in those days. They valued friends, family and relationships more than material. Many people today are very self interested and motivated only by money, plain and simple.

  • @onlynicc16 I'd prefer to live 30 years like I really want to, rather than bein a slave of society for 70.We r man, and we seldom tend to remember that, look at the average, they can barely survive surrounded by groceries stores.Back they didnt have aids, despite they knew how to cure themselves...I repeat, if u dont follow what your souls needs u r not bein yourself, or just have a lack of identity and that makes u just a number like many others.Have a good day

  • @onlynicc16 Thats why it was better. It meant more.

  • I think there is something to be said for how industry has ruined us. Many U.S. history books tell many stories of how children or young adults were captured by native American tribes..and how, when found again, most of these individuals did not want to enter back into Anglo society, they wanted to stay with the native americans. What does that say about our culture, about our spirituality? I loved this movie. The samurai dedicated their lives to the perfection of whatever they were doing.

  • @joeyjojo56 that "whatever they were doing" is full of principles and values...

  • OMG i remember this film when i first saw it, it had made me cry and i was stunned just by the culture in japan and then went on to do a english essay on it to get an A* :D which was great i love japanese culture!!

  • Masterpiece

  • I'm almost 16 , i love Japan from my 12th year ... Japanese people have something that no one has , their tradition and culture attract me a lot , When i get first opportunity , i will travel in country of rising sun.

  • Amazing

  • If only we could go back to those days and spend life with only basics but making the very best, industry has ruined us.

  • @jumbodavejimbo Humanity is headed that way....every sword will be hammered into plow shares...

  • @Avonaco76 "weapons are unfortunate instruments.heavens way detest and hates them.Useing them when there is no other choice,That is heavens way." weapons are tools, only tools.what matters is the person who weilds that tool for good or ill gain,is what is important. There can never be only peace, otherwise there would not be balance in this world.

  • @DemonofdaDesert Terrible English is Heaven's way of punishing my eyes.

  • @prophetezekiel LOL! so i dont enunciate or spell with proper english when i type.Get over it, a shitty keyboard doesent help either.Im sorry that you are looking for a wise man on the internet and all you get is us fuck ups.Go ahead and troll my comments if you want,im sorry that you dont have better time while i listen to music before work.Maybe you should find a sensei to teach these lessons to you so we dont have to.

  • @jumbodavejimbo I totaly agree with you :(

  • @jumbodavejimbo then give up your refrigerator,air conditioner,heater,car,house,modern meds,on and on,commie!

  • @dizzypilots1 Wow, moron. 1. Japan isnt a Communist country, thats China, and 2. I dont have to i mean it was better back then, giving up those wont make a difference you ignorant fool.

  • Comment removed

  • @dizzypilots1 Look at the thumbs up my comment got, look at the thumbs up yours got, oh wait... yours hasn't got any. Please learn your foreign countries, Japan isn't a communist country.

  • @jumbodavejimbo nobody said japan is communist, you keep squealing that to divert from your childish commie world view.

  • @jumbodavejimbo industry is not what has ruined us,its lazy commie loving welfare rats that ruined industry!

  • @jumbodavejimbo Industry made this movie and soundtrack possible

  • @jumbodavejimbo Says the man on the computer in his heated home.

  • @Shittlebees Yeah? I said "go back to those days". Moron.

  • @jumbodavejimbo It's not industry nor technology that ruined us but selfishness, rudeness, cruelty and lack of respect.

  • @TheMoonydi True, but with technology comming out, everyone wants the best and to be better than other people, so they are selfish, and rude, and yes Respect, what an amazing thing, along with Pride and Honour, I shall change what I said to; Humanity has ruined us.

  • @jumbodavejimbo you are very wise and say the truth. It would be an honor to be taught the Ways of the Samurai, and live by Bushido.

  • @jumbodavejimbo I dont know if industry by itself has ruined us, but I can definitely see the pattern your talking about. It seems like when some people discover some great scientific finding or invent some new technology, that people somehow gets the thought that they have the best plans for the future. Often times this leads to that people selling out their own honor and integrity. The nazi`s discovered what temps the human body would deveolp hypothermia, but they also massacred the jews.

  • @jumbodavejimbo Agreed. We should start a movement.

  • You could spend a life time searching for the prefect cherry blossom and it would not be a wasted life.

  • the blade of a sword, the noise it makes when it cuts air, the energy we let out after 4 hours spent sitting still...it's all right here.

  • Truly the essence of Japan has been captured in this amazing piece.

  • why do people argue in comments.

    what good does that do............

wake up, we live in a fucked up age. where the hole world revolves around a piece of paper called $

  • @zaiagamble VERY TRUE. the word HONOR doesnt exist in this era.

  • what a beautiful soundtrack and what a beautiful forest :)

  • Je to dar, když někdo dokáže popsat duši hudbou.

  • Love theese sounds so peacfully! Great job.

  • @Kiphrane the one below is for u

  • People most of the times look at me and think I am too old fascioned, but I just cant get over the fact that milions of people died to let us have what we enjoy these days, I just cant forget it...So I feel joy everyday by observing the small things remained, I wanna be like water in anything I do.I am very tough on myself cos I dont wanna feel pride for myself but simply justice, if i do something good, i can do it better, If i do it wrong I can do it better still...

  • @topperharley822 i wish i had your will.... but its just so hard, everwhere i look theres an obstacle that keeps blocking me from the path you are taking.... temptatons, greed and lust.. im already lost... but i am still travelling to the road where you are taking.... so i hope, that you feel this joy in what you want... because the people that died for us, will never experince this again...but they are overjoyed... to look upon the earth and think "we acomplished our goal"

  • @topperharley822 hard to find people like that

  • @topperharley822" I give honor and blessing to all who have died, so hopefully someday i may find the way."

thats my mantra at the start of our martial arts class, never knew how important it was until i lost a friend that i can never train with again.the path of the warrior is not divided between good and evil,it is the way that all beings should follow.

  • @topperharley822 Bushido Way my fiend!

  • @topperharley822 what you wrote just touched me,, i want to think this way

  • @nora89ab I am pleased people thoughts actually bring new thoughts...by doin so we hopefully will improve our lives.

  • @topperharley822 very well written, my friend !

  • @myuni Grazie mille...

  • @topperharley822 You are more than welcome !

  • @topperharley822 That's one of the deepest comments on a youtube video I've ever seen. Usually it is just mindless arguing, but every once in a while you come upon something as insightful as your comment is. I can see how this music would bring that out of you too.

  • Comment removed

  • @topperharley822 SO well said....

  • I wake up every morning and in this lost world, I find my way only thinkin of a world with honor, justice and loyalty.

When I hear this, I am left wishing that I had wrote it. Good movie and great music.

  • what kind of trees are those??

  • @wes4rocknroll Sakura.. I think that picture was taken in Nara because of all the deer

  • @sc300tproject Thanks

  • The wind in my face, the sun at my back, I have never been able to feel so relaxed. I close my eyes and start to breath, then rythms of the earth start to surround me, the birds singing melodys of love, and wind whistles to the birds and all around me the words, "I am forever with you, I am forever with you" as I open my eyes I look around and see my life flash before my eyes...

    and I realize

that love is all I need...

  • hans zimmer a musical geniuos, truly captured the flavour of japans imperial sound !

  • Where is that picture taken? I would like to go there myself :)

  • @dim5867 Maybe in Nara.. Nara has lots of dear and very beautiful during spring.

  • maybe the most wonderful movie soundtracks ever made

  • whats sad is if the samurais were still around then nanjing massacre or pearl harbor would have never happened. cant say that about any other country

  • @jballer246 Samurais are just the same, read about the Imjin War in Korea 1592-1598

  • i love it...its so fantastic...it brings me to think about the biggest gift that was given for us.....love and life!

  • STFU! and love me : D

  • If you watch this movie and you understand it, then you become a better person. someone who looks at life with wisedom in his/her heart and love in the eyes. You can't really describe it it is a Bodhi...an Enlightenment.

  • This brings up so much beauty and love, but the pain and sorrow that dwell in this song is infinite...

  • This brings up so much pain and sadness, but at the same time beauty and love...

  • This is a beautiful piece. It reminds me Pink Floyd's Cluster One

  • hans zimmer....... the best soundtrack maker in the world.......

  • wow listening to this reminded me of my childhood friend that died taking a bullet for me in a drive bye i couldnt help but cry imma man but not having your best friend with you laughing having arguements with is hard.... REST IN PEACE MICHAEL I LOVE YOU MAN!!!!!!!

  • So peaceful

  • 10 idiots pressed the wrong button

    this is soo beautiful

  • my brothers PLZ STOP talking about wars and enjoy the music

  • SZERETLEK!!!

  • i want this theme at my funeral.....

  • Ich Liebe ... Ich will ... so gern ...

  • Man Hans Zimmer knows how to capture a heart. This makes me... quiet.

  • All i'm saying is there is no good guys in war, Russians were the worst by far unless people forget. The S.S. were actually seen as liberators in Russia and wouldn't shoot there own men if they retreated. Only 29 million russians died three times more then any country in World War 2, 50% or so were friendly kills... laughable. But of course the Americans were the biggest cowards of all, Nuking a country that was clearly losing and was going to lose in Japan. poor Japanese got skrewed.

  • @beanslegend Germans were not looked at as liberators man they raped and killed thousands and when Russia took berlin it was pay back

  • @Saxon810 Actually in most russian towns they were, you have no idea how much worse communism is then Fascism, at least in Germany when the Nazi's took power everyone was working and eating not littered in poverty like they were after world war 1 until the Nazi's came to power. All i'm saying is that in that war No one are the good guys. People dont talk about the allied concentration camps where they tortured and killed over a million germans. Many sources agree that germans were liberators

  • @beanslegend

Your an idiot kid. Go back to school, and stop listening to the lies your little teenage, skinhead friends feed you.

  • @Saxon810 I'm just saying the Germans were attacked with brutal propaganda till this day yet all they really did that was inhuman was exterminate jews who did provoke them, and who did and still do control international banking cartels and are the most power hungry money hungry people on earth. Funny for all the genocides and murders in history people remember the holocaust the most yet it wasn't even close to the worst. Wonder why... hmmmm Jewish propaganda aka American Jews propaganda..duhh

  • It is very emotional and heart hurting music,it tells the about the war how it can destroy anything which comes in the way, hugner for power and richness has ruined all that we have in this world,Jews have started all this just throw a dollar bill and watch them how they fight. They have done this in the past and they are doing it now and they will do this in the future.Lets hope they come to their senses and become peaceful to their neighbours and others. This music has a lot of meaning enjoy it.

  • This soundtrack is just so beautiful... makes me wanna be in japan.. gives me a tear in the eye because i problaby never gonna get there :( sorry for my english :(

  • Just know that in war no one is the good guys, and again people forget the Jews are responsible for most wars in human history, they are money and power hungry people... They provoked the Germans... anyway enjoy the music, great song, great movie.

  • In the end Japanese are the only respectable Asian country and the Americans were goofs for nuking them twice even though they had the war won... pathetic. But in the end war is natural, and actually Jkarenen if you didn't know Hitler was skrewed so many times by france Britain and poland especially poland taking land from ww1 wasn't theres.. They all deserved what they got and worse... only thing Germany should have crushed britain before attacking russia.... The allies weren't the good guyz

  • @beanslegend It's weird to think that if Hitler hadn't killed so many of his own men. So many German Jews, he could've won. If Hitler didn't hate so much, he could've crushed Europe merely by numbers.

  • @BamBamProducky Maybe your right, but Hitler did many things wrong, putting retarded nazi's in charge of rearnament which from 1939 - 1943 which was extremely slow, until Albert Speer took charge and doubled there progress but it was too late. But in war there is much hate, and people forget that alot of the world have a deep hate for Jews even Christians who think there the world's saviors. Also the schooling Nazi's introduced scared everyone away including Einstein who created the atomicbomb

  • That movie makes me feel so at peace... it's unexplainable.. Thanks to the all of the artists who made that fantastic movie!

  • hans zimmer hit this one out of the park!

  • i love it because it brings you to thinnk about wonderful things in your live....and it brings you to think ab out how wonderful the live is.!

  • I love my true, one and only "Father".

  • I wish people had the same respect for each other they had in those times, if a chav in my country told a samurai his top not was gay or something, he would have the common courtesy to chop his head off.

  • @AzunaiSmyth yes. I think so too! But you know....this is again the "what if.."thing. I would love to spent time with those people. who respect each other and don't fight if they don't have to. I wish I would be so in peace with myselfe. I would love to have those "conversations" and see how they live and in what they believe. truly believe.

  • The Emperor could not hear my words. His army will come. For nine hundred years, my ancestors have protected our people. Now... I have failed them.

So you will take your own life? In shame? Shame for a life of service? Discipline? Compassion?

The way of the Samurai is not necessary anymore.

Necessary? What could be more necessary?

    What could be more true!

What a wonderful place to live... A place with friendship, truth & honour.... Words we should all live by!

  • best movie ever , i watch it more than 15 , ican't forget this movie this actors this moments this music amazing wonderful tom cruis best actor ever
