I'm 'fashion challenged'. You are sooooo cute and petite. I'm a 30 and a new mom with 4 little kids (5 and under) and I'm trying to revamp my wardrobe. (it's a nasty collection of college left-overs) Do you have any advice for someone with momma hips?? Any links??
@MsRbhack I think there are tons of stores that offer clothing that is both stylish but still appropriate for non-teenage/non-college crowds. I, for one, am neither! :) I think Aritzia (store in Canada only), Club Monaco, and Zara offer stylish clothes in all shapes and sizes. I'm not as lucky at finding things at F21 or H&M but I think they are favs among many "more mature" crowds. Lastly, department stores sell great brands like Rachel Roy and BCBG - both of which I think are great!
Really love this vid! Great tips ! But, as much as it's fun to try out different varieties, I think it's important to also take into consideration on each of our individual's body type, coz certain cut, shape, color, print, and/or fabric material might not work as well for one person while others look great in them. :) I looooove your tweed jacket! And so impressed that you're pretty pro with all those technical terms! :) I really enjoy your vids, thanks for taking the time and so much thought
@peachmelissa Awww...thank you so much for your comments! Great to see a fellow Canadian - whoo hoo! Yes, Superstore has some really cute things for good prices - love checking their stuff out when i'm grocery shopping! :)
I went "ohhh, my username!" haha. Thank you very much for this, I've seen both parts and they are so helpful! I only get a passing grade on scarfs (love scarfs) I think, all the rest I need to improve on lol. The tips at the end, specially the one on fads are SO true! And the vids weren't long at all, so don't worry about that =).
I really liked the red hoodie jacket, but with sleeves like that I don't think I could wear it, it's way too cold where I live...
@MissCantarella Haha....sometimes it's the little things like a shout out that can put a smirk on people's faces! I know I get excited when something like that happens to me :)
It's really really cold where I live too, so I generally wear that jacket in spring/summer but sometimes I wear it in the winter with a super-fitted sweater underneith and it works kind of like a blazer at work. Thanks for all the great feedback! I'll keep working on it! :)
@songhyeable You're welcome!!! Glad it helped and hope it wasn't too long and drawn out...I tried to limit the rambling...hehe...but it still ended up being a bit long.
@AudreyLudlow Thanks!!! Like I said in the video - scarves are the best way to change up an outfit, imo...so I've built up quite a collection. The ones I showed were only a few!!! :@
@bebemui1 It's from this season and it's on sale right now too!! Originally $115 or something crazy like that and now for $55....hope you are able to snag it before they're all gone. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
