When she is speaking a little japanese. If you have seen her when she speaks English she sounds like most young women. I don't know....but atleast when I do....my voice gets a bit higher and quite a bit softer. I try to control the pitch unless doing an impression of an anime girl. :) Keep in mind she is trying to be ultra-cute, the wide- eyed, the innocent expression, etc all point to that.
