  • OK--so I chuckle @ this little froot loop--but it's Fun to laff at the Welsh; my ex-pat Brit m8 claims they're known as Simple, Weak and Boring...so that makes this even funnier.

    =)

  • English is Germanic, I think most of Europe is either Germanic or Scandinavian. Celtic is also Germanic.

  • @90freaks37 I'd say terms like 'Celtic' are unhelpful. Terms like Brythons (today the Breton, Cornish and Welsh peoples) and Gaels (today the Irish, Scottish and Manx) are more explicit as to the origins of these peoples. But I'd agree that there are a large number of germanic people (e.g. some Norwegians) who would describe themselves as Celts.

  • @Kembread Bloody hell mate you must be one of like ten people on the internet who actually know what they talk about. Respect mate!

  • @90freaks37

No it isn't :p. Most languages in Europe are from the Indo-European language family. Germanic and Celtic are both branches of Indo-European. Scandinavian (more commonly North-Germanic) is a branch of Germanic and not an independent branch of Indo-European like Germanic or Celtic. English is a Germanic (West-Germanic) language. Celtic is not part of Germanic and a completely different branch of Indo-European. Search for "Indo-European languages" on wikipedia.

  • @MorrisMerkx Wikipedia? Argument over...

  • @FlectarnCelt

Not really. The linguistic information on wikipedia is actually very accurate.

  • lmfao his fringe bouncing!!

  • 0:36 she's from Gavin and Stacey.... Gavin's mum I think (or Stacey's lol)

  • 0:31 sht is fineeeeee

  • Thumbs up if I brought you here aha

  • That's almost the same way we pronounce taxi and ambulance in swedish. not sure why that gets me excited, but it does.

  • CYMRU.AM.BYTH!

  • When the Welsh sang, it came out so melodiously. O.o Did they have a run through beforehand or are they just that naturally good at singing? Damn.

  • He is so cute when he say ambulance:D

  • MY HOME TOWN LIKE, FUCKING WOO, SWANSEA *DUDUDU* SWANSEA! *DUDUDU*..

  • thiz man makes mee laugh sooo hard it hurts...:P

  • lol everytime i fail at life or something, I COME HERE :) cheers me up all the time...

  • Who was the bloke who did that monster thing the other week?

  • Welsh people are pretty class

  • @MrJenkiinz hey are you mrs.jenkins wife and if you can read welsh mae eich gwraig yn addysgu yn yr ysgol cowbridge cynhwysfawr?

  • @MrJenkiinz How do you know this stuff?

  • @PixieKesha because im a freakin genius ;) haha nahh i just watch a lot of documentaries

  • @MrJenkiinz ...the english language is made up primarily of French. It is a mixture of several languages...

Keep your hair on! Enjoy the comedy

  • @MrJenkiinz no offence but i dont think anyone cares :L the british love both languages im english but i prefer the welsh accent but not the language its to hard :L <3

  • @ShannlovesGerardWay yeah clearly no one cares because i hav 10 likes :L:L and the welsh language is the best in Britain and you mean , england not britain lol , i think only england love there language, if every other had the option to hav there own language they would ( i know scotland and ireland have ther own language but they barely speak it ).

  • @MrJenkiinz okay then :L...

  • @MrJenkiinz but if welsh was a celtic language how was it there before the celts? I'm sure the welsh claim that their form of gaelic is the original language of britain just as much as the scottish do, and the irish. But everyone's lived everywhere and conquered everywhere and trying to say that there's an original language of a country is like claiming a language is the original language of the world. There isn't an original language because it's evolving all the time and mixing with others.

  • @xXDaizzyXx Welsh isn't a form of gaelic. Irish, Scottish and Manx are gaelic languages whereas Breton, Cornish and Welsh are Brythonic languages. Gaelic languages are said to be more archaic than the Brythonic languages. I agree with you though. The welsh/scots/irish weren't "here" first. We are in fact indo-european like everyone else, hailing from indo-russia originally. The Picts were here before the Brythons or the Gaels, I believe :D

  • @Kembread fair do's! :) i still have to question, mind, the concept that MrJenkiinz brought up of welsh being celtic yet being here before the celts arrived, since surely that would be ridiculous?

  • @MrJenkiinz - welsh sucks.....slightly better than dutch.....

  • the groups that this video is most popular with is interesting

  • Dammit, I wish I was born in the UK. Americans are so lame.

  • @annahill99 As they are all arrogant idiots who believe patriotism might as well be a part of their religion which they PUT ON EVERYTHING, "oh if jesus does it it's fine". ey is old Norse : island, raised ground in marshes .........so the fact they use swans on there football club is mere association. the original name is abertawe......mouth of dark flowing river

    nos da ;)

  • I LOVE the Bread of Heaven singing bit!!!!!!!!!!

  • @HROLLOH Haha...yeah I like visiting the UK. A bit rainy, but a nice place.

  • @HROLLOH Dude I'm not from the UK. I've visited there from America a few times -- and of course I don't have a good ear for all the different accents. When I went to Liverpool, the English people who spoke there sounded a bit like that. They may well have been Welsh or descended from people living in Wales. Liverpool is pretty close to Wales, so it's not inconceivable that the accent there is influenced by Welsh people.

  • 2:17 Had me near to tears. The way he said 'Piss off' in the most chavvy English accent was perfect.

  • @HROLLOH hahahah. Big love son!

  • 02.47 <3 hahahah

  • @HROLLOH No you're not.

  • @HROLLOH Well that Welsh accent sounds like the way people talk in Liverpool.

  • @HROLLOH rather we are proud you are not Welsh...

  • @HROLLOH We are proud you are english as well....

  • Love seen his hair shake like hell ;D
