I'm 52 and wish I had gotten on hormones when I was younger. I am still male & am struggling with my gender identity. But, I'm glad to see that there are people like yourself that are being supported. Lastly, I was very glad to hear about the new laws that passed to protect Transgendered people Hooray! This is most common issue...alot of transexual get this challenge. Young teenager who clock you will approach you and talk to you to her your voice and if you can't delivery then you'll get ridiculed my love. Few tips for now, try to wear a little make up such as eye liner, mascara and try not to hold your head up too high because you got a prominent adams Apple thats stands out from a mile. Hope you don't find these commments offensive, just try to help you with honest opinions Happy Birthday!

Sounds like such a great experience. If I can add one thing, just be yourself no mattter how much they stare. People will become comfortable around you when you don't draw attentiion to yourself and just be a girl/woman.
