  • Pastors need to stop trying to be scientists.

  • What a charismatic fucker. Feel sorry for him tho.

  • suck it NUMBNUT

  • Your points are well taken.

It's kinda hard to miss the irony of this man, who would deny Evolution, which well grounded in science, but blindly accepts the Flood, the talking burning bush, & finally, that it was all wished into existence by a ghost-god using magic!!

Ya gotta admit, that takes some real masterful self-delusion!

  • @Cootabux "Ya gotta admit, that takes some real masterful self-delusion!"

    Indeed.

  • @Cootabux evolution is well grounded in science ?? ????????????????????????????????????????

with one only proof of evolution u can get 250 thousand dollars on this website drdino.com

    hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahah

the reason why the vast majority of people embraces evolution is because it gives them moral freedom.... free sexual morays...

  • @netofuschini When people want 'moral freedom', they join cults like Christianity, and convince themselves a magic scapegoat takes any punishment they deserve for the crap they do.

The 'vast majority of people embrace evolution' because it's verifiably how life diversifies during procreation. Take a biology course. Observe the mechanism of evolution in action.

  • @seekatruth "You'll find more interesting stuff on related themes on the Creation Biology Study Group website, including a paper entitled 'The Flores Skeleton and Human Baraminology' which is especially relevant."

I was able to navigate to the site, but could not find "The Flores Skeleton...."

  • @seekatruth "This seems also to have been true of the human kind, which diversified into many groups, some of which are no longer extant."

Seems like an ad-hoc hypothesis created to address undeniable evolution as in the Italian wall lizard and nylonase (although nylonase creates a problem for this hypothesis as nylon wasn't created until recently)

I can create all kinds of hypotheses to explain problems with my hypothesis, but they are useless if they can't be tested or falsified.

  • @seekatruth "ERV's are assumed to be evidence for evolution. It is an unproven assumption that these fragments actually came from retroviruses."

Really? I'd love to read the peer reviewed paper that states that. Please provide the link.

"Furthemore, the ERV insertions are all non-orthologous."

I tried to open your tinyurl, but it says it's invalid. I trust this is peer-reviewed published work.

  • @seekatruth "The 'mountain of evidence' is more like a foothill"

Ah, obviously words spoken from someone who knows little or nothing about evolution except what he/she read on a creationist website. The evidence is massive, especially since we have cracked the genome. If evolution is absurd, please explain why we share 14 ERVs with chimps. Also, please explain why Neanderthal DNA is outside of normal variance of that found in modern humans. I was once like you. If you doubt it, read my profile.

  • @seekatruth "So in the process of believing that your reason is supreme, by relying on your own limited sense of reality, you somewhere fall short, and come to the wrong conclusions in application to the ultimate open system (God)."

Let's put aside the big bang and abiogenesis for the moment and deal strictly with evolution. Are you suggesting that we ignore the mountain of evidence for evolution and instead rely on the stories of a 2000-year-old book of desert scribblings

  • @seekatruth "Thus Human reason (which is limited) can only draw conclusions from the limitations of human experience"

We can test our hypotheses and if the tests fail, we can conclude that they are likely false. If the tests succeed, then we have reason to believe the hypotheses are true. Additional successful tests give us more reason to believe our hypotheses are true. My guess is that this is how you function in most of the areas of your life (other than religion). How is this irrational?

  • @seekatruth "Those who limit themselves to believing only what can be seen and analyzed by human observation are not the most balanced and informed among us. Rather, they are the blindest and most irrational."

Nice claim but, unless you back it up, it's just a bunch of meaningless words.

  • @seekatruth "So in the mind of an atheist, the stories of the Bible are more absurd than life itself."

    Yes.

"Further, Piper was directing his attention towards the atheists cosmological argument (or lack thereof)."

Piper was attacking something he doesn't even understand.

  • i just think it's funny how he can't believe that things "just appear out of nothing" , which by the way is NOT what evolusion is claiming, but it makes perfect sense to him that in the begining there was nothing and than god said something and "poof!"

    suddenly everything came to existance.

seems like he's loughing at his own belief.

  • Awesome video!

  • How many times was this moron dropped on his head as a baby?

  • @EssentialPedagogy

    dropped? thrown...

  • @addmoreice

    Repeatedly

  • @ReligionFreeDeist "I saw this Piper clip a while back and was hoping someone would do something with it. "

I have several others...maybe a series is coming.

  • "just...nothing...just... forces, you know... happened"

He's right to laugh at this. too bad is not the theory of evolution. Lol.

  • @ysurfer "He's right to laugh at this. too bad is not the theory of evolution"

It's pathetic that these individuals attack something that they know absolutely nothing about. However, to be fair, I was like him once and did the same thing.

  • I don't know anything more ridiculous than the bible!

  • When a moron calls you moronic, you're more than likely in the right.

  • Abracadabra, gawd did it... extra life in eternal luxury for believing it... yea right

  • It's not so much Piper who depresses me, but the audience members who you can hear tittering as he parades his ignorance. To be a twit is bad enough, but to be an apprentice to a twit — that's bleak.

  • @TheraminTrees "To be a twit is bad enough, but to be an apprentice to a twit — that's bleak."

Now that I think about it, I was once an apprentice to a twit but later evolved into twit. Does this mean evolution is true?

  • Hilarious that the guy is talking about "the judgment seat" and God and other stuff for which there is absolutely zero evidence, and then "critiquing" evolution. That is too funny.

  • @ozmoroid thats why they call them believers. Theyll believe anyone that pipes enough hot wind up their kiesters.

  • Why would we want to talk about scientific facts when we could talk about talking snakes, talking donkeys and four legged insects and thats not funny.

  • Is that man a POE? he is too flamboyant and crazy to be real.

  • Poor ignorant fool. Worst thing is that he's "teaching" others! Boy what a twisted world we live in...

  • Piper's speech proves that people's conception of God often reflects their own small mindedness. Supposing there is an omniscient creator, he would know that no proponent of evolution would ever confuse abiogenesis with evolution. Those are two different things. Secondly, would such a powerful being behave so immaturely when finding that some of his creation made an honest mistake and then condemn them for it? Such a creature is not worthy of worship or the title God.

  • @alphacause "Secondly, would such a powerful being behave so immaturely when finding that some of his creation made an honest mistake and then condemn them for it?"

This I find pathetic too. In one breath they describe god as almighty and in the next as some 2-year-old.

  • Re: your description. It is ALWAYS OK to make fun of the christards!:)

  • @4G3NTanon "It is ALWAYS OK to make fun of the christards!:)"

Ah, it's so nice to be validated.

  • if you want a laugh: PICK UP THE BIBLE! hehehehe

  • Creationists are maddeningly stupid.

Piper's ignorance is astounding & at the same time pathetic.

  • HEEHEE!!

  • John Piper is very right about one thing. God will laugh at him.

  • Fucking imbecil!NO BODY has EVER said that all this came from nothing! what science postulates; is a begining fom an infinitesimal hot and infinitesimal small and infinitesimal dense singularity.where does the singularity come from? well they are hard at work looking to TEST! a theory of multiuniverse creation which gives singularities begginings. Anyway" nothing" is just a word used for day to day experiences by humans, just like "the present is also a word" there is no "nothing and no present".

  • 2:18: Caption: ''Oop; I see a shadow!''

  • The best way I know to debunk this is to laugh in their faces, and ask, "And what will you do when they send you to hell because you didn't accept the prophet muhammad?" XD They usually say "Islam is for crazy people." But what's the diff, I mean, really? XD

  • Ahhh Steve! First let me say there is absolutely NO love lost between me and the Pie-eyed Piper. HOWEVER, that said, you do a wonderful job of circular reasoning in your "playful" attack on the Bible. How so?

First you assume there is no God. Based on THAT, you try to show the Bible is funny because it shows God intervening in history.

Now it is ONE thing to show something in the Bible is illogical. This is worth discussion. BUT it is another thing to equate all miracles with illogicality.

  • @Blogrich55 Miracles defy logicality by definition.

  • @216trixie Then you need to study logic. If I said God could make a square circle THAT would defy logic. If I said the Creator and sustaining Force of the universe can interact and effect it at His discretion, however, THAT does NOT defy logic. Big difference.

  • @Blogrich55 - So an omnipotent gawd can't make a square circle? Then gawd's not omnipotent, or your argument falls apart.

  • @LeksServices Do you really want to know why intelligent Christians don't take atheists seriously? The answer you give here shows you aren't playing with a full deck logically. If this stupidity is the best you can come up with troll on and waste someone else' time. You don't know logic, it is THAT simple.

  • It's only okay if you share, pills. I'm a Vodka kind of guy myself.

  • The really funny thing is that he thinks a god just happens to exist instead of the universe just happening to exist, nearly the same theory. He's laughing at his own belief and doesn't even know it. That's what happens when you don't bother to think.

  • Excellent stuff mate.

  • Do you believe in magic?

God has better thing to do than worry about humans.

Keep looking up and talking to the sky.

  • Only religion can allow you to remain so utterly clueless and childish with such staggering confidence..

  • Yes, that was hilarious!

  • I'd take this guy's word over any scien........oh shit I couldn't even type it without pissing myself laughing.......This guy is batshit crazy......but his craziness is overshadowed by his utter stupidity!

  • @drukenhard "I'd take this guy's word over any scien........oh shit I couldn't even type it without pissing myself laughing....."

    :-)

  • Atheist billboards should feature this guy. Best advertisment you can get.

  • Loved it! Mr. Piper, the joke is on you!

  • The Benny Hill music was perfect. This is a twit I've not encountered before.

  • You don't even have to say anything this guy debunks himself.

  • And to think, I used to believe every one of those stories was true.

    *heavy sigh*

    So much wasted time.

  • @debbieomi "And to think, I used to believe every one of those stories was true."

You're not alone. I spent 30 years there.

  • He makes Ray comfort seem almost lucid. Almost but not quite. What a frigging IDIOT! and the pwnage was great :)

  • @AuntieDill "He makes Ray comfort seem almost lucid."

The banana proof is one of my favorites of all time.

  • Ppl like him, Hovind and WLC make me atheist! not the atheist themselves!

  • And Dawkins et al. get ripped for being pompous jackasses, this guy smacks down William Lane Craig in smugness. And WLC is king of smugness compared to Dawkins prole status there.

  • great vid, love all those cartoon pics.

  • I love it when they call us believers! Because they KNOW it's an insult.

  • @seriouslymatsteele "I love it when they call us believers! Because they KNOW it's an insult."

    I think you're right.

  • lol! very, very good. thanks!

  • Nice to see you put out a video after so long!

Id also like to see what he thinks of the big bang...

  • John Piper needs a straitjacket pronto.

  • When we all get to the "judgement seat" God is going to laugh at us for believing our eyes. And he's going to share a hearty guffaw with none other than John Piper, because we all know that Piper is the man God looks to first when he wants to share a laugh. They are going to have a nice big laugh at people who couldn't accept unsubstantiated claims, and then we'll all be sent to hell for an eternity of torture. How could you not want to join a group of people who laugh at the torture of others?

  • @jancar2012

That's the god of the Bible, all right.

    "I also will laugh at your calamity;

I will mock when your fear cometh" Says YHVH

    Proverbs 1:26

    What a sadist.

  • @jancar2012 "And he's going to share a hearty guffaw with none other than John Piper, because we all know that Piper is the man God looks to first when he wants to share a laugh."

I cracked a smile when I first heard him say this.

  • Well done !

  • Mr. Piper is an idiot. As you show, he thinks that scientific postulates are laughable, but he does not think that the fairy tales of the bible are funny. That's odd. Good job putting together this video. I enjoyed it.

  • My sentiments exactly!!!!!!!!!

  • No, no! All of THAT makes PERFECT sense!

He thinks we think he's "out of it"? Oh... it's MUCH worse than that....

  • I always find it amusing the way those claiming the super, all-being, all-powerful creator of everything, will somehow appear and/or reduce itself to something a mere human mortal can chat with as though they'd been lifetime buds.

May as well turn the whole thing into a cartoon and be done with it.

  • I think he needs a padded room.

  • I suppose god and his guy think that the scientifically demonstrable reasons for why and how the SHAPE of soap bubbles 'come into being' is laughable, since it doesn't include god presumably.. Nice come back crazypills, haven't seen you making videos much lately.

  • I've thought John Piper is insane for quite some time. It is appropriate to mock this.

  • LOL! Good job!

  • Piper is a fucking idiot. Plain and simple.
