  • Saw the Guess Who for the first time in 2000 at the Molson Ampitheater in Toronto. Sounded amazing. The following year they were the Headliner in Walkerton At the Watershed Festival.

  • @CANUCKEH44 Oh COOL. I bet it was a great concert?

  • is this band really that old? its hard to find em =(

  • @Rockenmayhem The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Initially gaining recognition in Canada, they also found international success from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s with numerous hit singles, including "American Woman", "These Eyes" and "Share the Land". Several members of The Guess Who, notably Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman (of Bachman–Turner Overdrive), have also found considerable success outside the band.

  • these guys totally ripped off the sheep dogs, lol

  • great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like this version better than the original. The arrangement is perfect.

  • Pensa - Suhr =))

  • used to listen to them when Burton was with Chad Allen and the expressions.( maybe ---"reflections" , in 1967) They were great then. It was the Honeycomb a-gogo in Medicine Hat. It was run by the now famous Ron Sakamoto of Gold and Gold Productions fame. I used to sell the Pop there ( yes just pop in those days)

  • Meu, os caras são demais!! que artistas... Deve ter sido uma delícia estar neste show ao vivo... Pena que eu não estava.

  • oh how the mighty have "not fallen"

  • Absolutely FANTASTIC. Play this song at least 25 times a month (I mean 25 days in a month, perhaps ± 12 times in that one day, i.e. 25 x 12). Reminds me of days when my older brothers played it over and over, also it was a huge hit when we immigrated. The new country then couldn't stop playing it. But seriously, the words, the tune, the everything - WOW!

  • nice :)

  • Superbad!!!!

  • This video is remarkable quality. A fine tribute to this truely classic band.

  • tres bon groupe canadien de ma jeunesse love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Seems all I'm able to access are music audio titles, not video titled, using AT&T as my mobile ISP. Please advise if video titles are accessible and, if so, the correct method for this.

  • This was the first song that I ever dance with the love of my life at a party in a cool night in October 1974 , my husband of 26 years and the father of my great 6 kids, even that we are not longer together, we will always have that night and all the memories of the times that we shared together.

...... relationships and people do not last forever, enjoy them while you still can.....

  • This song is also in Spanish with Roberto Jordan beautiful song :) but the original is in english, I love this song, I remember when I was teenager. thank you for play this song, the guess who

  • 25 communists don't like this version.

  • Not only this song brings memories of the good old days of our lives, but also gives a chance to the present generation a glimpse of the music of past days.Hope

the present singers will try and do similar numbers.

  • 25 people are clueless.

  • This one hit home ...back in the day, feels like a hundred years ago and yesterday, too. Eddie where are you now?

  • You sing.

    And you sing GOOD...

  • sure was a different era back then...

  • luv it

  • Absolutely amazing song and proof positive that today's singers really suck as a whole! Where in the world is all the real talent. We demand an answer from these worthless record companies.

Sony, WB, and all you other companies give your A & R reps at least a chance to find real talent. You major record companies are fading fast as we speak "cause you don't have the vision or the balls to hire real talent anymore.

  • now thats my canadian love of my childhood

  • AMO DE PAIXÃO ESTE CONJUNTO, É MÚSICA DA MINHA GRANDE PAIXÃO QUE UM DIA EU TIVE E PERDI, POR NÃO SABER LUTAR PELA MINHA FELICIDADE

  • @pluecherry7 hey superbad reminded a lot of people this song ever existed...theres so much music out its easy to forget about older tunes

  • @pluecherry7 Thanks to Superbad, this song is now known to younger audiences. It may not have the significance it has for you, but this is a timeless song. It cannot be forgotten.

  • @pluecherry7 why, there both forms of media, this song is only 42 years old, thats only .00001 nanoseconds for the universe.

  • @pluecherry7 why? superbad rocks! and so does the "these eyes" scene :D

  • This song reminds me of the love between my parents. Dad misses mom so much...she passed away 7/11/2009 +RIP+ following a late stage diagnosed terminal illness 3months prior, and 41 days hospitalized. 47 years of marriage, devotion and love between them...my heart misses you mom, and there is no comforting the void for dad..."His Eyes" were always for you

  • @Angel4217

    so fucking what

  • lol superbad flashback >.>

  • Great! This is a hard song to sing, but Burton always puts his heart and soul into it. That band was so great (this live one), such a major thrill to see them. Put these guys in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame already!

  • These Eyes see you, Pride of Canada. Burton Cummings. Thank you!

  • there is no way 25 people dislike this. maybe they don't like the version or quality. don't know. don't understand.

  • that guy probly has the best voice of all time

  • Memories of 1974....being in love, so care free, so happy. To be that way again would be so wonderful. Wish I knew where "he" was now. What he was doing, how he wasa doing...you know would just like to catch up. Funny how a song can spark such memories.

  • @tmww3 I do know where my love is from back then. She died on 11/23/09. This was her favorite song when we dated from 69 - 72. Not the ending that I was hoping for.

  • You made promise to me and you broke it....SIGH

  • In loving memory of LRN, 10-25-1963 / 5-23-2010, the most amazing person I ever had the honor to meet.

A true angel here on earth. She made me whole again. The world is dull and gray without her beautiful smile to light my way. She will be always missed and forever loved.

  • One of the greatest male rock singers ever! My uncle actually mixed this song.

  • Was born in such a great era of music in the late 60s and 70s. I remember my dad playing in bands to this kind of music and me falling asleep in the band room next to his bass drum. I loved the music they played especially now that I am older. Maybe that is why I cant hear so good at times now. Drummer always and forever!!

  • @CalypieAndroid What does that mean?? haha! Those guys are from Winnipeg. I think you're going WAY back in the vault to try and find a "slave" reference. I hate even using THAT word. Actually, I didn't know there was such a thing as white soul music.!! IF they had that in church, I might show up once in a while...
